  1. CLOSE!published at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time

    Bournemouth 0-0 Manchester City

Bournemouth very nearly opening the scoring in the opening seconds.

Antoine Semenyo's effort is parried by Ederson and the City goalkeeper does well to get up and block Justin Kluivert's effort on the rebound.

  2. Postpublished at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time

    Southampton 0-0 Everton

Turns out Dwight McNeil didn't fancy it as Jesper Lindstrom curls into Aaran Ramsdale's arms.

  3. Postpublished at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ipswich Town 0-0 Leicester

A nervous moment for Leicester's Stephy Mavididi as his back pass from the halfway line eludes away goalkeeper Mads Hermansen, but luckily for Mavididi there isn't enough weight on it to reach the goal.

  4. Postpublished at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time

    Southampton 0-0 Everton

Early chance for Everton from a free-kick after Iliman Ndiaye is fouled by Kyle Walker-Peters.

    Dwight McNeil might fancy this.

  5. 'Brighton always have a goal in them'published at 15:01 Greenwich Mean Time

    Liverpool 0-0 Brighton

    Chris Sutton
BBC Sport pundit on BBC Radio 5 Live

Brighton have always got a goal in the team and play with confidence, so they can hurt Liverpool. Kaoru Mitoma is a great dribbler and there will be focus on how Trent Alexander-Arnold deals with him today. Danny Welbeck too, he is getting on a bit but he is in the form of his life. He's got six Premier League goals this season.

  6. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:00 Greenwich Mean Time

We're under way in the five 15:00 kick-offs. Let's see what's in store for us here.

  7. 'Massive game for Ipswich today'published at 15:00 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ipswich v Leicester (15:00)

    Shay Given
Former Man City goalkeeper on Football Focus

It's concerning that they've lost three on the bounce. Confidence when you're down near the bottom is a problem as well.

Last week they had one of the games of the weekend. They scored three goals and Liam Delap hit the post late on so they could have snuck a draw at Brentford.

Looking from the outside they probably just have to tighten up a bit defensively for the Premier league. They have got players at the front end of the pitch who can get goals, Especially Delap, I like him a lot.

Just tighten up at the back. It's a massive game for them today at home to Leicester. A huge game.

    Nottingham Forest v West Ham

    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool defender on Final Score

Nottingham Forest's defensive record has to be work on the training pitch and the summer additions.

You have got to get the two in front of the back four right. It has been Ward-Prowse and Anderson, which means you have a senior head and an eager youngster.

  9. 'I am very frustrated'published at 14:59 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Newcastle 1-0 Arsenal

    Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to Premier League Productions:

"We deserved to lose today. I thought we started really well and were really dominant. We didn't defend the box well enough. Credit to them. They scored a great goal with a good ball.

"Then the game changes and you start to play a different game. You have to adapt and we didn't do that well enough. I am very frustrated.

"We got dragged into a game they are looking for constantly and we couldn't play the game that we wanted.

"We had two big chances - Mikel had a big one, Declan had a big one. We lacked answers."

On reacting to the defeat: "We can say whatever we want. We will struggle to find the words today. We have to show it on the pitch on Wednesday night.

"You have to be at your best every time to give yourself a chance to win".

  10. Forest to continue impressive season?published at 14:58 Greenwich Mean Time

Nottingham Forest v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

Nottingham Forest are having a right old season, aren't they? Nuno Espirito Santo's side are aiming to win three on the spin in the Premier League for the first time since May 1999.

Whisper is quietly but they *could* also jump up to third in the league.

  11. Postpublished at 14:58 Greenwich Mean Time

Bournemouth v Man City (15:00 GMT)

    Chris Wise
Final Score reporter at the Vitality Stadium

The ‘emergency’ blue lights not required after all for Pep Guardiola.

More than a few raised eyebrows in the press box when that Man City team was confirmed. Mind games or just a very good medical team?

  12. 'Bournemouth have been specialists in failure against Manchester City'published at 14:57 Greenwich Mean Time

Bournemouth v Man City (15:00 GMT)

    Steve Wilson
    BBC commentator on Football Focus

It was Jose Mourinho who called Arsene Wenger a specialist in failure. Well Bournemouth I'm afraid have been specialists in failure against Manchester City.

They have played City 21 times in all competitions - they have drawn twice and lost 19. Their points tally in the Premier League against City is zero.

It's a big ask for them today but I was here two weeks again when they beat Arsenal and they were really impressive. They're brilliantly coached under Andoni Iraola - why aren't Manchester United looking at managers like him?

Iraola does a great job, Bournemouth look a really good side this season. City have all these injury problems, 13 players available but 13 very good players.

City will fancy themselves to keep that record going I'm sure.

  13. 'Huge benefit that Liverpool midfielders are so adaptable'published at 14:56 Greenwich Mean Time

    Liverpool v Brighton (15:00 GMT)

    Phil Jones
Former Manchester United defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

All of those Liverpool midfielders are adaptable and can play in a number of positions in there. That is a huge benefit to the squad that they are adaptable because you can make changes. For example Alexis Mac Allister, people want to try and pinpoint what his best position is, but he can do any role and you can use him as it suits.

  14. Postpublished at 14:56 Greenwich Mean Time

Bournemouth v Man City (15:00 GMT)

    Chris Wise
Final Score reporter at the Vitality Stadium

Bournemouth in perfect symmetry right now. Three wins, three draws, three defeats. Eleven scored, eleven conceded.

But the numbers against Man City aren’t consistent. This is Bournemouth’s 21st crack at beating them for the first time. The win over Arsenal here last month will surely evoke some serious self-belief though that this might be their best chance yet of changing that.

  15. 'We deserved to lose today'published at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Newcastle 1-0 Arsenal

    Arsenal

    William SalibaImage source, Getty Images

Arsenal defender William Saliba to Premier League Productions:

"We are all a bit sad because we wanted to win today. Unfortunately we didn't and we didn't play the game we wanted to play. We deserved to lose today I think.

"I think we didn't play how we wanted to play and they were good as well. It's OK, we are focused on the next week and it is not finished."

On the Newcastle goal: "I think it's a good goal, a really good cross and good finishing but we can always do better. Today they scored early and we were not able to equalise.

"We have to stick together. Last season we had one period like and we need to stay together and have the confidence to get out. We all believe we will come back."

On his own performance: "I have to be better than my last game. I was not so good. I have to be back at my good level. After I will be good we will better but I have to work to get back to my best level."

  16. 'Slot is his own man'published at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time

    Liverpool v Brighton (15:00 GMT)

    Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool defender on Final Score

Slot has changed the style and it will suit a lot of players.

It has been impressive and last weekend was his biggest challenge to date. It ended up being a good point for them.

He is his own man and his tactics are impressive.

  17. Postpublished at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time

    Liverpool v Brighton (15:00 GMT)

    Emlyn Begley
    BBC Sport at Anfield

Big cheers at Anfield as the Arsenal score is read out. Arne Slot's side, who sit second in the table behind Manchester City, could open up a seven-point gap on their title rivals here.

  18. Cooper suspendedpublished at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ipswich v Leicester (15:00 GMT)

    Tom Gayle
Final Score reporter at Portman Road

Can you spot who is missing from the team sheet? The absence of Steve Cooper’s name is confirmation the Leicester manager will serve his one match touchline suspension after picking up a third yellow card during Wednesday’s League Cup defeat at Manchester United.

  19. 'It means so much'published at 14:51 Greenwich Mean Time

    FT: Newcastle 1-0 Arsenal

    Newcastle United

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe speaking to BBC MOTD:

"You have to be really strong mentality and know results will turn if you continue to do the right things. It has been a difficult week with the fixtures but the players have done really well.

"There was a better feeling in training after the Chelsea win, as if pressure lifted slightly. Today's performance was built on hard, work , desire and a lot of really good defending in the second half. I thought we looked good."

On the winning goal: "I wouldn't say it is a trademark goal for Alex but really pleased to see it. Anthony can give you that on his natural right hand side and it was a great ball.

"It was always going to take a moment like that as it was a game of few chances."

On his side's performance: "It was 95 minutes of concentration and consistency in our attitude. We managed and controlled some very good players pretty well today.

"It's three points but it means so much because we hadn't won for a while in the Premier League. I'm sure it will do us the world of good."

  20. 'Haaland is a beast'published at 14:50 Greenwich Mean Time

Bournemouth v Man City (15:00 GMT)

    Shay Given
Former Man City goalkeeper on Final Score

    What a player.

The service is there for Haaland of course but they know he is in the right position.

He is hungry to play every game and he wants to break those records. He is a beast of a player.
