People are deluded in thinking Spurs' current problems are due to injuries. In our last 49 Premier League games under Ange we’ve lost 23 games, losing four more games than we’ve won, conceding a total of 84 goals. We’ve been poor for a long time under Ange. We sacked Poch & Mourinho for less, how does this guy get so much loyalty from our board?

Right, as promised, something on Spurs struggles coming up.

Tottenham fans, you may want to look away before reading the below statistics...

    • Tottenham have lost 11 games in the Premier League this season; their joint-most at this stage of a single campaign in the competition (also 11 in 1997-98, 2003-04 and 2008-09). The only sides who’ve lost more this term are the three teams currently in the relegation zone (Wolves, Leicester, Southampton).
    • Arsenal have scored 26 goals from corners in the Premier League since the start of last season; the most of any team. Four of those have been netted against Tottenham, which is also the most goals a team has scored from corners against a specific opponent in this period.
  3. Charlotte FC want Wilfried Zaha on loanpublished at 11:34 Greenwich Mean Time

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport football news reporter

Multiple sources in and around the MLS club say they are in talks to sign Wilfried Zaha on loan.

The 32-year-old winger would become one of the Charlotte's designated players.

The North Carolina club believe the Ivory Coast international, who became a club legend at Crystal Palace over his eight-year spell, would be among the top five players in the United States if the deal gets over the line.

Former Aston Villa manager Dean Smith is currently managing Charlotte, who are looking to end Zaha's unsuccessful loan spell at Lyon from parent club Galatasaray.

  4. Garnacho has United future - Amorimpublished at 11:31 Greenwich Mean Time

Man Utd v Southampton (20:00 GMT)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter

Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has been the subject of speculation about a move away from Old Trafford during the current transfer window after reports in Italy claimed his representatives have met Napoli.

United officials have dismissed talk of a €60m (£50.58m) transfer fee, clearly in the belief it would take a much higher sum to persuade them to sell the Argentina forward despite their tight financial position.

And, speaking ahead of tonight's Premier League encounter with bottom club Southampton at Old Trafford, United head coach Ruben Amorim said he sees Garnacho as part of his plans for the future.

"That is clear," he said. "He has talent."

And the positive is Amorim feels Garnacho is adapting to his system, that uses inside forwards rather than the wide attacking players, which the 20-year-old has previously been used as.

"I think he changed the way he sees himself," said Amorim.

"He's finding the best way to play in this system and is improving during training.

"He improves a lot in the recovering position when he doesn't have the ball. But doing that, sometimes he's not in the right place to make transitions like he was in the past."

  5. Al-Shabab make first move for Wolves' Leminapublished at 11:29 Greenwich Mean Time

    Nick Mashiter
    BBC Sport football news reporter

Saudi Pro League club Al-Shabab have asked to take Mario Lemina from Wolves for free.

The midfielder wants to leave Molineux but Al-Shabab's initial move will not be entertained by Wolves.

They are looking for a fee of around £5m for the 31-year-old, who lost the captaincy to Nelson Semedo last month.

Lemina missed Saturday's FA Cup win over Bristol City but boss Victor Pereira said on Tuesday, in his pre-match press conference before the Premier League game against Newcastle, he was fit and available.

However, speaking after the match at St James' Park, which Wolves lost 3-0, Pereira said Gabon international Lemina came to see him after the press conference and expressed a desire to leave.

"I can't bring a player who tells me he is not in the mental condition to help the team. He wants to leave," said Pereira, who joined Wolves from Al-Shabab in December.

Arsenal's title challenge now hinges on their January transfer business. We should have scored 4 against Newcastle, United and Spurs but are in really poor form in front of goal and are picking up injuries almost every game. We need that striker to relieve the pressure on the rest of the team. If we do that and can cut Liverpool's lead to 3 points or less by the time we play them on 10th May, then it is in our hands.

    • Newcastle are 52.4% likely to finish in the top four and 72% in the top five, which will more than likely be enough to earn Champions League qualification

    • Bournemouth have a 12.7% chance of finishing top five (likely CL spot)

A couple of messages coming through that Liverpool have won the league and 90 points will be needed to win it. A four-point lead at the top is meaningless in January! The league will be won with 80-odd points this season since the ridiculousness of Man City is absent.

Newcastle, as much as I would love it, aren't in the title race, but are very much in the race for Champions League spots. Sadly FFP still hampering clubs like Newcastle and Villa from sustaining a genuine upwards surge.

  13. Title chances - Optapublished at 10:57 Greenwich Mean Time

We asked you earlier whether Newcastle's form has put them into the title race.

To be fair, not many of you are giving Eddie Howe's side any chance at all, which is not too surprising given they are nine points behind leaders Liverpool having played a game more.

    Opta's Supercomputer concurs.

Here are the predicted title chances of those teams being given any chance at all:

    • Liverpool 86.5%
    • Arsenal 13%
    • Newcastle 0.2%
    • Man City 0.2%
    • Forest 0.1% (up from 0%!)
  14. What is the chance of that?published at 10:52 Greenwich Mean Time

As mentioned earlier, Opta's Supercomputer, external has been crunching the numbers following the latest round of matches and has come up with some new percentage chances for each club of:

    • Winning the title
    • Being relegated
    • Which position they are most likely to finish.

  18. What else is to come?published at 10:30 Greenwich Mean Time

That's the last of the reaction from the manager's boxed off but we've got plenty more to bring you throughout this morning and afternoon.

We'll be reflecting more on Arsenal's 2-1 victory over Tottenham in the north London derby and looking at where it leaves both teams.

The Magpies continue to fly and Alexander Isak is a big reason why. How important is he to Newcastle's success and can Eddie Howe's men force their way into the title reckoning?

Also, Everton and the relegation battle as a whole. It was Moyes misery rather than Moyes magic on his return to Goodison Park. Who is going to escape the drop this season?

Stick with us - there's loads to come!

  19. Palace and Leicester heading in opposite directionspublished at 10:24 Greenwich Mean Time

    Leicester 0-2 Crystal Palace

Whatever methods Oliver Glasner is using, they seem to be working.

After a difficult start to the season, with no wins from their opening eight Premier League matches, Crystal Palace have moved away from danger.

They are now eight points above the relegation zone and unbeaten in their last four league games.

The signs don't look good for Ruud van Nistelrooy's Leicester City though.

After six straight defeats, it is hard to see where their next win is coming from. In-form Fulham are next up at King Power Stadium.

  20. 'There were a few choice words' - Hughespublished at 10:18 Greenwich Mean Time

    Leicester 0-2 Crystal Palace

Oliver Glasner hinting at a half-time hair-dryer there...he seems like such a mild-mannered chap too.

Palace midfielder Will Hughes backed that up in this interview with the club website: "There were a few choice words [from manager Glasner] at half-time. We weren't at the races and were lucky to get in at 0-0.

"But that is always a blessing when you're not really playing too well. And then obviously there was a reaction in the second half [from Palace], I think we thought we deserved it in the end.

"It shows the character of the team and that we can do it, but we need to be more consistent."
