    Manchester United

Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko: "Definitely important to win the game, for the general environment. We were fighting to the end, thankfully we won the game in the end.

"It's always a lot of pressure especially in a club like this. We always take it in a positive way, we showed once again that we can play well and win games. It's important now to continue like that."

On scoring first goal at Old Trafford: "Amazing, the atmosphere after the goal is something I've dreamed about always. Hopefully I can carry on this way.

"Definitely important for me. In general for the team it's even more important. When you have a lead like that it's easy to get comfortable.

"We are training every single week, we are trying to know where to be in every situation. We're getting better and better."

On if Isak and Ekitike can play together in this Liverpool side:

I think both players are adaptable. If Liverpool played 4-3-3, we saw Isak at Newcastle play on the left hand side. And Ekitike the early signs we have seen of him that he is versatile. Both can drop in, play on the half turn and play off each other.

For me Chelsea are still a work in progress, they are a constant project, and that is the frustration for the fans. Just short of two billion spent, surely you're challenging for the title?

  5. 'Thierry Henry keeps pushing me'published at 17:07 BST

    FT: Arsenal 2-0 West Ham

    Arsenal

Arsenal's Bukayo Saka, speaking to Sky Sports: "It showed the progress we have made. The last two seasons we slipped up at home against West Ham and we wanted to put that right today.

"We know the quality we have at the top end of the pitch and we know if we keep a clean sheet it is more than likely we will win the game."

On becoming just the second Arsenal man to score on their 200th Premier League appearance, after Thierry Henry, he said: "Thierry messaged me this morning to remind we lost the last two games to West Ham at home. He is always pushing me. I am really happy to have my name with his records."

Make no mistake, that's a massive win for Ruben Amorim. It's a game he had to win against newly promoted Sunderland. One or two scary moments but a comfortable win and three points.

Shows the standard of Goalkeeping we've been subjected to when a new lad puts in a solid 7/10 performance on a relatively quiet day and Utd fans are raving. Hopefully Lammens will be a turning point for this leaky defence.

Nuno Espirito Santo has one hell of a job on his hands. West Ham weren't in the game today, it was so comfortable for Arsenal. It could have and perhaps should have been more. Now he has time to really get to work over the international break.

    FT: Arsenal 2-0 West Ham

    Chris Wise
BBC Final Score reporter at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal have their win, they are at the summit of the Premier League for a couple of hours at least. What a way for Mikel Arteta to mark his 300th game in charge.

Arsenal are now seven unbeaten. This was comprehensive, this was dominant, won by goals from Declan Rice in the first half and Bukayo Saka's excellent penalty in the second.

For Nuno Espirito Santo it's a first defeat as West Ham manager. He'll have a bit of time now with the break to work with his players. They're still in the bottom three.

I actually have felt Sunderland have done OK in moments and since they have come into the Premier League they have looked comfortable. I just thought they lacked confidence and a bit of 'know how' which is what United have.

West Ham are in bad shape at the moment, whereas Arsenal are looking the real deal. This scoreline doesn't reflect the current reality for either side, as it should be way more than 2-0 with the gulf in class between them.

Massive chance for Sunderland. The ball comes to Talbi and all he needs to do is put it hard and low towards the bottom corner, but he hits it straight at the keeper. They are chances that Sunderland normally take but today it's not happening for them.
