Former Manchester City and England captain on Final Score

I think when you have your leg that high there is a chance you will give away a penalty. It is lazy defending from Sesko in terms of where he is. We saw it against City in the Champions League in midweek, if your leg is that high you run the risk.

Early days, but you can actually feel the confidence flowing into United from having a keeper they can rely on.

    Man Utd 2-0 Sunderland

    Will Perry
BBC Final Score reporter at Old Trafford

I initially thought that it was soft. It reminds me of the one against Gonzalez for Man City in the Champions League last week, his foot was high but there is no contact with the face.

Not given. Huge cheers from the United fans.

  14. 'Important for Sesko to get goals early'published at 15:48 BST

    Man Utd 2-0 Sunderland

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League Striker on Final Score

It's taken a while for Sesko to get up to speed, it was an interesting decision for United to change their entire front line in the summer, but they will be hoping there is more to to come.

It's important for him to get goals early, we saw what happened to Hojlund, he was tarnished with 'didn't score enough goals', but I actually think there is a better supply line [to the forward] this season.

    Leon Osman

United had a really good opportunity on the counter attack there to try and be ruthless. I think that was a real good opportunity to try and put this game to bed.

Eze has had the most shots without scoring in the Premier League this season, 17 and counting - 13 before today and four in this game, that includes playing for Crystal Palace, not just Arsenal.

  20. 'Makes sense for Sunderland to get more bodies in the box'published at 15:45 BST

    Man Utd 2-0 Sunderland

    Steph Houghton
Former Manchester City and England captain on Final Score

On Le Bris' decision to bring off winger Adingra for centre-back Ballard:

I think something had to change, especially on that right hand side for United, they were being dominant with Diallo and Mbeumo. It makes sense for Sunderland to get more bodies in the box.
