West Ham are a goal down but seem to be focused on not conceding more as they remain sat in quite deep.

There's five minutes of time added on as we hit 45 minutes.

    Oooh.

United debutant Senne Lammens has a proper save to make here, palming Granit Xhaka's 20-yard drive wide at the post.

As a Man Utd fan, I genuinely can't allow myself to feel positive, even when we're playing like this. Until that guy cuts his hair, I'm staying pessimistic!

Before that goal Arsenal had been "Nuno-ed". West Ham have sat in, made it difficult for Arsenal but not offered a lot going forwards.

Rice had been moved up one with Odegaard going off and he puts them ahead against his former team.

Home discomforts for Martin Odegaard... that's the third time he's come off injured in the first half this season - after 38 mins v Leeds, 18 mins v Forest and 30 mins today. He's come off in every Premier League home game he's played in this season.

Benjamin Sesko is tackled in the box and Diogo Dalot shoots over from the loose ball. United have been by far the better side so far.

  9. 'A goal that has certainly been coming'published at 15:40 BST

    Arsenal 1-0 West Ham

A goal that has certainly been coming for the last five minutes. The pressured was really building.

Eze's shot was bound for the bottom corner, Areola makes a good save to his right but unfortunately for him the ball falls to Rice and he goes for the roof of the net with the finish.

    Declan Rice (38 mins)

He scores against his former club!

It has been coming as the ball is played through for Eberechi Eze and although his shot is pushed away by Alphonse Areola, ex-Hammer Declan Rice is there to guide home the rebound.

Not only are Arsenal injuring a player every match, they're returning them too quickly.

It took Benjamin Sesko three goes to get his goal at Brentford last week as he struggled to get the ball in the net.

Nothing like that this time. Right place at the right time and a very smart finish.

This is the kind of performance Ruben Amorim so badly needed.

2 goals in 2 games for Seśko. This is the striker United need.

It's a long throw in and Sesko makes a really clever run across his defender. Mukiele gets the touch inadvertently and flicks it onto him, but a good centre forward anticipates where the ball is going to go and sticks it into the net.
