On hole number 13 Min Woo Lee asked for assistance after his ball moved on the fairway. It was determined his actions near the ball did cause it to move and one penalty stroke was added to his score under Rule 9.4b.

Nicely judged Rory McIlroy as he cosies his ball down to within two feet.

Take the three and get out of there.

Corey Conners has played it well out of the sand but still faces 10 feet for par. Cracking putt - he stays one back.

It's a wonderful view from up on the 11th fairway looking down Amen Corner - what's not a wonderful view though is the huge tree blocking Justin Rose's view of the green.

So he takes on the ultimate shot of nerves by aiming out at the water and cutting it back in, which hs executes brilliantly - too well in fact as it keeps cutting and drops off the green!

Bryson DeChambeau somehow manages to get some spin on the ball from 184 yards out to leave a long birdie putt - impressive length again though.

Always an excited murmuring when someone tees off at the 12th.

Corey Conners goes first and dumps his effort in the greenside bunker.

Over to Rory McIlroy and his ball catches the wind. That'll take out any water danger and land just off the back of the green.

That'll just need a little tickle to trundle down to the pin.

Shane Lowry gets a nice read off Matt McCarty (who gets another par) but he doesn't use the lesson he learned as he misses on the same side as the left-hander.

Wearing a big smile and keeping good posture, according to Nicolas Echavarria.

The 30-year-old Colombian started the week by winning the Par Three precursor and is now into the top 10 of the main event after finishing his third round.

"Inside there's a lot of nerves, especially in the first tee. Then you let the round flow," said Echavarria, who has shot rounds of 73, 70, 69.

"That was key today. I hit some quality shots starting the day, and I took advantage of good breaks."

Shane Lowry is left frustrated again on 11 as he just misses with a birdie try from 15 feet - it's all a bit nearly there from Shane so far, he's hitting it nicely but the putts aren't dropping.

We've really not seen much from Tyrrell Hatton today and now we get a glimpse of him on the 12th green making a bogey.

He's dropped to three under par and has not had his best stuff today.

Playing partner Scottie Scheffler joins him on bogey street after that awry tee shot.

Bryson DeChambeau is short of the green on 10 and faces a tricky up and down, but Justin Rose is showing signs of life as he hits a lovely approach to leave a makeable birdie try.

There are few places you'd less like to be if you've lost your mojo.

Rory McIlroy is entering Amen Corner with two bogeys and a par from his past three holes - and watching the field come clawing back.

That tee shot will do nicely though. Blasted down the 11th and with a nice angle to the pin.

He's pretty much in the same spot from where he did this yesterday...

Straight onto the 12th tee for Scottie Scheffler and he takes aim at the pretty Golden Bell green.
