Chelsea up to fourth. Bournemouth's European dream still going strong?
Here is how the top end of the Premier League looks after those two matches (and with the score in the games other day, Man Utd 0-0 Arsenal (at present).
FT: Chelsea 1-0 Leicester
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We need to change the plan before the warm-up and this is why we are so happy because we adapted. Don't forget that Leicester against Arsenal for 80 minutes was 0-0. It's not easy. We created enough to be one goal ahead of them.
"The Leicester keeper is brilliant and Cole is going to score more penalties and miss more. He didn't feel well in the night. The people need to understand the effort he made to be there. Cole is a top player. Everything is normal now.
"We have two goalkeepers. The idea is not to change them. We changed in the past but hopefully not in the future.
"We won the game, we are happy. We still have 10 games to go. We are there."
FT: Chelsea 1-0 Leicester
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca speaking to Sky Sports: "This is why I was so happy at the end. They gave everything and were unbelievable. It's not happy when you prepare for one thing and the other team arrives here and it's completely different. Between first and second halves, we created enough to win the game.
"Marc [Cucurella] scored a fantastic goal but we had more chances to score a second one. It's not easy for the players because we had to adapt and they did that fantastic.
"I don't think so. Cole [Palmer] is going to miss more penalties in life. From the outside it's hard to understand, he didn't feel well during the night but he wanted to be there to help win the game. With Cole, we are happy with him.
"Sometimes the fans don't understand how difficult it is. We prepared in the last three games in one and Leicester played in a different way. We need 12 players at home and I think we can be there.
On goalkeepers: "We had a clean sheet with Filip [Jorgensen] and today with Robert [Sanchez]. We are happy."
FT: Tottenham 2-2 Bournemouth
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We are disappointed. Considering how the game was going it is not good enough for us to just get a point.
"We are playing well, creating chances and controlling games but we have to find a way to win them. At the end of the season every point is key and today we feel we lost two very important points.
"We tested the keeper two times in the first five minutes but we need to capitalise.
"We had chances to score the third one and the fourth one but we couldn't take our chances."
On the penalty: "The first goal they scored is difficult to complain about but the second one we should defend better before the penalty and even the penalty.
"Son is very smart in that situation but we shouldn't give him a chance to make the contact."
On Europe: "We have lost something in the last few games. We are performing well and having good moments but we are not winning and big teams find ways to win.
"I hope we don't play as well next time and find a way to win against Brentford."
FT: Chelsea 1-0 Leicester
Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Good performances. A lot of spirit and heart combined with good football. Off the ball as well, a new shape. We looked solid. Great teamwork and energy. I can't praise the players enough for this performance and they deserved points.
"We worked last week on preparing this on-and off-the-ball shape. It looked natural, players looked comfortable off the ball with security. We brought more support for Jamie Vardy. I was happy to see that and it's something to build on next week. Another long week where we can invest.
"The crosses need to connect with the box and of course, you need some luck with the own goal off the crossbar and it just wasn't there for Jamie Vardy.
"They never gave up. I see them every day in training. They work really hard. They were just too protective in the first half. Anything can happen but not that. We go for it."
FT: Tottenham 2-2 Bournemouth
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "It was a pretty chaotic game. We had some struggles in the first half with the ball. We were careless with the football and that allowed Bournemouth to dominate in that area. We needed Guglielmo Vicario to make some big saves to keep us in the game. At 2-0 you realise it's a fair mountain to climb but credit to the lads.
"He's such a big player for us [Cristian Romero] and he really grew into the game and with him and Micky van de Ven getting minutes and Dom [Solanke] getting through a game, it is great for us.
"We wanted some more energy in midfield and Lucas Bergvall was good when he came on in the second half and Son was bright and took the game to them. It was great for Pape, he'd just had a good chance before [the goal].
"The big moments are for the big players and Son certainly stood up. It is important that guys like Dom, Micky and Romero are available for us and getting minutes before Thursday is crucial."
FT: Tottenham 2-2 Bournemouth
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola, speaking to sky Sports: "Before coming here it is probably not a bad result but after how the game went and how well we performed, we are not happy with a point.
"We have to be more efficient. It's not just about the performance. We have to win the games when we are the better team and we were the better team. We have to be more clinical and smarter.
"We played well and pressed well but we have to capitalise. We were winning and we need to kill the game.
"The first goal we conceded is a matter of luck but the second one we should do better, defend better, it's a cheap penalty to concede."
On Kepa Arrizabalaga conceding a penalty: "I think he is frustrated. I think Son is smart. He goes to one side and forces the contact but Kepa gives the referee an option."
On the progress Bournemouth have made: "We are playing well and performing well but we lack this thing that the big teams have when they win games. Even if they don't play well they find a way to win.
"If we want to fight with the big boys then we need to compete better."
Have you done enough to make the 'big boys' respect you yet?: "We are trying. We still have games to play and everything is tight. Every small point counts a lot."
FT: Chelsea 1-0 Leicester
Leicester boss Ruud van Nistelrooy speaking to Sky Sports: "I get good at this after games. A good performance on and off the ball, everything was there and I think the players deserved more. We came away with a penalty save to go into half-time at 0-0. It's the kind of luck you need sometimes to turn things around. Lots of positives again but we have to take the blow of taking nothing.
"We took one week to prepare this and it was really positive. We didn't expect it to be this good. it suited the players and the profiles we have. It gave us more stability defensively and more support up front with two nines. Something to build on.
On Cucurella goal: "He had time to move forward with the ball. I wasn't really worried about the shot from the side. He his it well. Sad to see that go in.
"When I see the heart and spirit they play with. Someone looks at Leciesster today with the context of the last few months, they see a spirited team.
On Hermansen save: "He's a great professional and he showed it today. He will bring us clean sheets soon hopefully."
FT: Chelsea 1-0 Leicester
Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho speaking to the world feed: "It was a much-needed win, we knew Leicester would come here and give it their all. We stuck to the game plan and we got the three points.
We had a lot of chances, we should have converted more goals. That's football, you score some and you lose some.
"He [Marc Cucurella] does that in training quite often so I'm not surprised. We want to win every game.
"Next two games; Copenhagen on Thursday and then Arsenal. We have to be prepared."
FT: Chelsea 1-0 Leicester
Chelsea have won back-to-back Premier League games for the first time since a run of five victories between November and December 2024.
FT: Chelsea 1-0 Leicester
Chelsea goalscorer Marc Cucurella speaking to Sky Sports: "We know that we need to defend with everything and today the team showed a lot of passion.
"I think Enzo passed me the ball and I see that I have the option to shoot. Normally I wouldn't but I tried. We got the three points and we want to fight for the objectives.
"I'm really happy. I think it's a long process, I needed to work really hard in my bad moments. Maybe something I need to improve is being more clinical in the final third.
"In the last minute we showed energy and the fans helped us in our tough moments when we're a bit tired. We defend the same club and we need to stay together. The support is very important when things go not well."
FT: Tottenham 2-2 Bournemouth
Bournemouth winger Marcus Tavernier, speaking to Sky Sports: "You can see how far we've come in a couple of seasons. We should have put some more chances away but going 2-0 up, we have to see the game out. Everyone is disappointed in there but we can't dwell on it too much.
"Today we could not take our chances and we need to really work on that. We have to take it a game at a time but we know what is at stake. Every game now is important with 10 games left, we have to focus on bringing home as many points as possible."
FT: Chelsea 1-0 Leicester
Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen speaking to Sky Sports: "It is obviously frustrating. It sums up the situation we are in now as a team. The crossbar in the first half, that little bit of luck. Didn't create much and they score from distance.
"We just need to keep being solid defensively and keep trying to go on the counter and create some chances. Hopefully, soon the luck will turn around a bit.
"We speak as a team internally and we all think and feel this is a tough situation of course. We are also mindful about going deeper down into the hole. We're trying to keep smiling.
"We always try to prepare and I knew he would take it. I had the feeling he would go there."
FT: Tottenham 2-2 Bournemouth
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, speaking to Sky Sports: "At 2-0 we had a bit of a mountain to climb. It was a chaotic game today and the boys showed a real mentality. It would have been really easy at 2-0, with the atmosphere in the stadium, to let it slip away from us but they fought hard and got themselves back in the game.
"It was a different kind of struggle for us today. Bournemouth pressed really well and we were really sloppy with the ball at times which allowed them to pin us back. It wasn't anything like Thursday but we hung in there.
"There is definitely a sense of nervousness there. We are getting players back who have been out quite a while. We've been keen to get [Cristian] Romero back and his first pass shows he's not played for three months. Some of it is just anxiety and nervousness which we need to get under control.
"I think Micky van de Ven, Dom and Romero are quality players and we've hardly had them all year. It gives the team a bit of a boost to see them out there. It would have been a fairly deflating feeling had we not [got back into it]. It gives us and the players some understanding that when we stay strong and we can overcome whatever kind of struggle we have.
"I don't preach from the altar. People are allowed to feel the way they do. Playing away at AZ they certainly helped their team and we'd like to think on Thursday we will make it just as hostile for the opposition."

Spurs get out of jail today, very lucky to get anything out of the game. Bournemouth have only themselves to blame for wasting those early chances.

Leicester City have lost 12 of their last 13 Premier League games, the first side to suffer as many defeats across a 13-game spell in a campaign since Sheffield United in their opening 13 matches of 2020-21 (12).
FT: Tottenham 2-2 Bournemouth
Tottenham captain Son Heung-min, speaking to Sky Sports: "I am still very disappointed and frustrated not getting the three points when you play at home and expect them. Bournemouth are a really good side but I still feel like it was not good enough for us.
"It is tough to say but Thursday was an unacceptable performance from everyone and today in the first half as well being sloppy. I would not say it was a hangover but when your confidence is a little bit down you do things you would normally not do and make mistakes. We have to be strong because a massive game is coming.
"Everyone has quality in the Premier League but confidence makes a huge, huge difference. Especially after Thursday you think, 'we have to more and do better' and obviously things are a bit stressed but you have to stay calm and do the simple things and we will come out of this tunnel."

Listen, Bournemouth are a terrific team. The Europa League is our season. There is nothing to play for in the league anymore…it’s basically a dead rubber! Ange’s second season CV does not lie. Now come on, let’s go!

It is a missed opportunity for Leicester. Chelsea were awful in the final third when it came to their decision-making.
But Leicester did not create enough at the other end. They spent a lot of energy defending and they did not have much left in their tank when there were chances to go forward.
The league table does not lie and the fact is that Leicester haven't been good enough to warrant a better position. I just don't see this team having the ability to get out of this relegation fight.
