Staggering how Bournemouth, a "small club" with average home gates at 11,000, have acquired and developed such a vibrant squad of young talent, most of whom would walk into this current Spurs side - Brilliant advertisement of how to recruit in the Premiership and such a well run club!

Rodrigo Bentancur is hobbling after being caught by Lewis Cook's boot. The Bournemouth captain won the ball, I'm not sure there was any real malice in that.

Here's Leicester on the attack and Jamie Vardy is played through at an incredibly tight angle. The captain manages to fire a shot on target and Robert Sanchez palms wide.

That's about the best disallowed goal ever!

England manager Thomas Tuchel is in attendance at Stamford Bridge.

This is the second time the German has returned to Chelsea since taking the England job last year.

He will mostly be looking at Chelsea's players like Cole Palmer, Jadon Sancho, Levi Colwill and Tosin Adarabioyo.

Reece James is out through illness so can't impress in front of his former manager. Co-owner Todd Boehly is also in attendance.

England boss Thomas Tuchel is in attendance at Stamford Bridge. Can't say he'll be very entertained from what he's seen so far.

Son Heung-min almost levels for Spurs but his shot clips off a Bournemouth player just wide of the far post.

In typical fashion, Jamie Vardy emerged from the tunnel after half-time drinking a can of Red Bull.

That's how you counter. Pinpoint accuracy in their passing and clinical finishing.

Tottenham are really lucky to get away with this. Antoine Semenyo is a good five-yards behind Tottenham's defence.

Chelsea play it short, allowing Cole Palmer to drift in a cross but Mads Hermansen collects the ball.

Or it would have been for Bournemouth had Antoine Semenyo not been offside in the build up. Unforgivable really given Marcus Tavernier did brilliantly down the left.

They remain only one goal up.

Chelsea are starting to turn the screw now and they win another corner.

Marc Cucurella sets off running down the left once again but there is Wout Faes to clear the danger out for a corner.

The corner then gets delivered and then Enzo Fernandez smashes the ball into the side netting.

  15. 'Tottenham have started brighter'published at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March

    Tottenham 0-1 Bournemouth

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Tottenham have started brighter and there's more balls into Dominic Solanke's feet.

Bournemouth are pressing less and they're more than happy to sit in.

Tottenham have started this second half with a lot more intensity. They have presumably had a half-time rocket from Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs plumbing new depths today. Chaotic defence. So easy to play against. So open. Atrocious passing and control across the team. Wingers can't beat a man. Players hiding from the ball. No excuses, now - with players back, this is just embarrassing

    Oliver Camp

Ange can no longer blame injuries for consistent poor performances. The way Ange sets up his defence is a shambles. Continually too many unforced errors from bang average players. Very lucky to be only one goal down at HT.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March

A double change for Tottenham as the second half gets under way. Yves Bissouma and Brennan Johnson make way as Lucas Bergvall and Son Heung-min come on.
