    Sheff Utd 2-0 Luton

Luton boss Rob EdwardsImage source, Rex Features

This will be a fifth defeat from nine Championship games for the Hatters unless they can do something special.

Rob Edwards' men are suffering quite the post-Premier League relegation hangover.

Unlike the Blades, who are unbeaten and on course to go level with league leaders Sunderland.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:15 British Summer Time 5 October

    Swansea 0-0 Stoke

The Cannon has fallen silent this afternoon. Tom Cannon that is.

After a four-goal salvo against Portsmouth on Wednesday, the 21-year-old Leicester loanee has not had a sniff this afternoon, until now, he is played behind the defence by Andrew Moran and bears down on goal, only to be denied by a smart stop with his legs again from Swans keeper Lawrence Vigouroux.

  4. Postpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 5 October

    Watford 0-1 Middlesbrough

Watford have lost their last three league games against Middlesbrough and they're 1-0 behind here.

A little over half-an-hour to prevent Boro from making it four from four.

  5. Postpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 5 October

    Coventry 1-1 Sheff Wed

Jake Bidwell heads wide from a corner as the home side look to retake the lead in this match between two teams who haven't really got going this season.

  6. Postpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 5 October

We only had four goals across the first half of our seven Championship games...

We've just had four in about two minutes.

    That's more like it!

  7. goal

GOAL Derby 2-0 QPRpublished at 16:12 British Summer Time 5 October

    Marcus Harness (55 mins)

It's two in less than two minutes!

Marcus Harness fires into the top corner past Paul Nardi from a low ball across the box from Nathaniel Mendez-Laing to double the lead - that's his first goal for the Rams.

Pride Park is rocking once again.

  8. goal

GOAL: Watford 0-1 Middlesbroughpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 5 October

    George Edmundson (54 mins)

    Middlesbrough take the lead!

Finn Azaz hits a low driven free-kick into the box and Watford's Ken Sema completely misses it.

It comes all the way through to George Edmundson and he finishes from close range.

  9. goal

GOAL Derby 1-0 QPRpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 5 October

    Curtis Nelson (54 mins)

The deadlock is broken with a booming header into the top corner from a set piece Derby defender Curtis Nelson, giving Hoops keeper Paul Nardi no chance.

The Rams have a lead to protect.

  10. goal

GOAL: Sheff Utd 2-0 Lutonpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 5 October

    Jesurun Rak-Sakyi (52 mins)

The unbeaten hosts are two to the good and it is the birthday boy again!

The Crystal Palace loanee beats his man with ease and hammers a finish into the back of the net.

Could he mark his 22nd birthday with a hat-trick?

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:09 British Summer Time 5 October

    Swansea 0-0 Stoke

More of the same after the turnaround as the flying Swede Viktor Johansson flings himself to his right to push away a goalbound header from Swansea forward Zan Vipotnik.

The Potters keeper is making a strong case for man of the match so far.

  12. Postpublished at 16:05 British Summer Time 5 October

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Just the three goals in four-and-a-half games at The Hawthorns in the Championship so far this season.

Surely we can expect at least one more in this second-half?

  13. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:01 British Summer Time 5 October

The players are drifting out in dribs and drabs, the half-time pies have been scoffed and the pints seen-off.

Time to decide who takes the spoils, and the points, home with them this evening...

    We're back under way.

  14. Goalless at Hawthorns (again)published at 15:59 British Summer Time 5 October

    HT: West Brom 0-0 Millwall

    Tom Gayle
Commentator on Final Score at The Hawthorns

The Hawthorns living up to its reputation as one of the stingiest grounds around.

For the fourth time in the five league games here this season, it's goalless at the break.

West Brom should have scored - Josh Maja’s wild strike from 12 yards failed to finish off a very nice move

Millwall’s first corner saw Japhet Tanganga free at the near post, but his attempted volley was met with ironic jeers from the home support.

BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Wales head coach Craig Bellamy is at the Swansea.com Stadium for Stoke's visit today.

Swansea midfielder Ollie Cooper was arguably the best player on the pitch here against Bristol City last Sunday, and there's a vacancy in the Wales midfield following Ethan Ampadu's injury.

Can you remember your 22nd birthday?

I have vague memories of a student night in Sheffield, after a kickabout in the afternoon. I doubt Jesurun Rak-Sakyi will be ending his evening at Sheffield University's student union but there'll be a few toasting his 22nd birthday after this first 45 minutes.

He's illuminated a Bramall Lane that's bathed in autumn sunshine today and but for Thomas Kaminski, would have added more than his one emphatic finish after 12 minutes.

Luton have struggled to get going and bar one effort from Victor Moses into the side netting, haven't offered too much.

The Blades will have to be careful though, Anel Ahmedhodzic's yellow after being dispossessed in his half by Elijah Adebayo showed Sheffield United can be got at.

But with Rak-Sakyi, Callum O'Hare and Kieffer Moore all looking dangerous at the other end, the home fans will be the happier, by far, at the interval.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 5 October

    Coventry 1-1 Sheff Wed

Coventry City's Jack Rudoni celebratesImage source, PA Media

All-square in this game between two sides who started the day on eight points from eight games.

Jack Rudoni's strike had the home side a goal to the good but Djeidi Gassama levelled for the Owls just before the break.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 5 October

    Derby 0-0 QPR

Not much in the way of goalmouth action at Pride Park as both sides try to get their campaign back on track.

Rams keeper Jacob Zetterstrom produced a flying save to deny Karamoko Dembele the opener for the Hoops with a dipping drive which was tipped over the bar.

All to play for in the second half.

  20. goal

GOAL: Coventry 1-1 Sheff Wedpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 5 October

    Djeidi Gassama (45+2 mins)

The Owls level before the break!

Djeidi Gassama finishes well to level but the home side have only themselves to blame.

Liam Kitching makes a hash of clearing his lines and Jamal Lowe picks up the loose ball and plays Gassama in to make it 1-1.
