1UP Reed/Spieth v Rose/Stenson (13)
Rose buries a longun on 13, matching Stenson's birdie from the previous hole. Suddenly, Reed needs to chip in to halve the hole... duffs it. For the second match in a row, Reed and Spieth's legs are turning to fag ash down the stretch.
McIlroy/Pieters beat Koepka/D Johnson 3&1

That was the Americans' last chance. I am surprised they haven't tipped their caps and shook hands.
It was absolutely fantastic on both sides, the Americans played great as well and down the stretch they came up with a few.
McIlroy/Pieters beat Koepka/D Johnson 3&1
Brooks Koepka knows that realistically it's all on the line. His putt for birdie has to go in as Rory McIlroy or Thomas Pieters will make at least par and halve the hole to win the match.
Koepka sends his ball, it's tentative and the break in the green is too strong. Two putts for Pieters to end it. He only needs one. That young man has been truly fantastic. He has ice in his veins. Europe are on terms for the first time.
A/S Moore/Holmes v Willett/Westwood (15)
The 15th green looks like an archery board, the bullseye peppered with golf balls. Danny Willet and Lee Westwood will have looks at birdie, as will America.
Westwood to go first, just off the green but only 14ft from the pin. It's a right-to-left break, good putt, he shrugs in anger as it falls just short. Willett from almost the same spot, short again. Oh dear. Ryan Moore can win this hole here... this would be huge at this stage... it's in... no. A lip out. He could not have been closer.
To the 16th all square. Dear me. It's proper sport this.
D Johnson/Koepka v McIlroy/Pieters 2UP (16)
Shot one on this par three 16th. Critical, critical times. Dustin Johnson up first...water...no. It clings on to the bank but that ball will not win this hole.
Thomas Pieters, cracking strike, likes it, heart of the green, inside the ball of Brooks Koepka. Rory McIlroy is wider than the two. It's there for someone to drain a big putt.
3UP Mickelson/Kuchar v Kaymer/Garcia (14)

I think this is an inspirational selection from the USA. Seasoned veterans playing off one another, putting well. Sergio is playing well for Europe, but Martin isn't, so they are up against it.

We need a tweet from someone in space now to really complete our night but we can't overlook this one. Looks like an out of this world night ladies. Great to have you with us.
Team t-shirts too. We missed that memo.
3UP Mickelson/Kuchar v Kaymer/Garcia (14)
Kaymer with that birdie attempt at 14 and he misses. Mickelson had already knocked his birdie putt in, meaning the USA take a three-hole lead.
D Johnson/Koepka v McIlroy/Pieters 2UP (16)
Brooks Koepka has been quiet for a while but that stunner of a second on 16 fully deserved reward. Such are the struggles of Rory McIlroy and Thomas Pieters that Kopeka can take two putts, make birdie and reduce the deficit. Two to play. A par three next. Pure strikes needed more than ever.
2UP Reed/Spieth v Rose/Stenson (12)
Stenson for the win from about eight feet at 12... straight down the pipe, Reed and Spieth pegged back to a two-hole lead.
2UP Mickelson/Kuchar v Kaymer/Garcia (14)
Mickelson with a dreamy approach at 14, he's left a shortish birdie putt. Kaymer, who hasn't won a hole today, almost gets inside him. It's been a tough couple of days for the German, would be nice to see him stick that in.

Nairobi, Los Angeles, Australia, Split, Moscow, Worksop, The Vine Pub, New York City, Paris, we know you're with us. You guys are ace. Keep them coming. Anyone on a space station? We've already covered the globe.
A/S Moore/Holmes v Willett/Westwood (14)
This is the match where it's at now. Lee Westwood goes full throttle to clear greenside bunkers and does, just. Fine margins. Now a big chance. Some five feet for the win. Misses.
That's what you get with Westwood. He putts a couple from the clouds and then misses the tiddler that matters. We remain level, this one is tense. If you're of a nervous disposition, it's just not for you.
D Johnson/Koepka v McIlroy/Pieters 3UP (15)

All the players know when you have mud on the ball it's the one condition where you have no control over the ball. Normally it goes far right in flight and I bet that was what it was.
D Johnson/Koepka v McIlroy/Pieters 3UP (15)
Brooks Koepka seeks to extend this match further, taking on 258-yards to the green on the par-five 16th. He sets up eagle and tempts Rory McIlroy - who has a chunk of mud on his ball - to go for it too. Water, water, water and never anywhere else.
Dustin Johnson will lay up and he gets bang lucky, landing a foot short of the drink. Thomas Pieters now has some work on his hands. The 6ft 4in Belgian takes two practice swings. Steps back and measures this up. "Let's get this close, come on," says his caddie. It's not great and he finds the fringe for three. Koepka well in charge.
2UP Mickelson/Kuchar v Kaymer/Garcia (13)

That is astounding from Matt Kuchar, after Sergio on the last hole, what an amazing putt.
That was just one of those shots you can't match. You wouldn't have been expecting that.
