Those putts are important for Jordan Spieth, he needs to take the pressure off Patrick Reed right now on the big stage in front of this massive, massive red, white and blue crowd.

Spieth misses with his birdie chance, as does Rose. Stenson also in for par, but Reed makes his as USA open up a big lead in the bottom match... Reed has just gone birdie-eagle-birdie-birdie to take his team from one down to three up.

To the 10th and Danny Willett. Ball sat on a downslope, he'll strike right down on it and it's good. This fourball is delicately poised and he has a great look at birdie to come.

To 11, a shootout between Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson from close range. DJ up first... the US can't lose this hole and stand a chance... good putt. He raises his right arm to the cheers. Rory up...miss. He's human.
