Today's performance is a stepping stone. The finishers have come on for England and added something. The team have now had some test time and there's plenty to work on. But that's going to be what they want. This display will focus the mind ready for Australia next week.

Every time the camera pans to him the in the stands, the Australian has his stare set to stun.

This has been a well-below par performance for England and he knows it.

A double swap in the front row for England with Exeter's Harry Williams and Leicester's Ellis Genge - a Tasmanian devil in the loose - into the fray.

England have outmuscled Argentina with their defence and taken their two opportunities. In that regard, they've been pretty ruthless.

There hasn't been much action in either 22. No-one has really got into their rhythm even with Argentina's possession. It's been cagey between two teams who clearly haven't played for a long time. England's training has been really intense this week and it does look like they are a bit leggy.
