    Scotland 32-17 Samoa

This game really has some zip to it now.

Scotland are buoyed by the crowd as they try to find some space on the left channel, but Samoa get the turnover after a huge tackle from Matu'u on Tommy Seymore.

    The hosts ready four players.

George Turner, Jamie Bhatti, Chris Harris and Cornell du Preez all enter the fray.

Another change for Samoa. Motu Matu'u is on for hooker Manu Leiataua.

England's attack is clearly in its embryonic stage of development. A couple of times there an attacker made a break but then had to stop as they were unsure whether to keep running or try and play. It's been a pretty clunky first half so far.

Stuart Hogg thinks he's made a break forward over the halfway line but he's penalised for crossing and he is NOT happy about it.

Samoa opt to kick to touch and one of the ball boys on the side makes an excellent catch. Bravo that man! The crowd appreciated that one.

  6. Half-timepublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2017

    England 14-3 Argentina

England give up their sixth penalty of the match so far. I believe it was for George Kruis dragging down his man in the line-out.

And that is your lot for the half.

It has been rather underwhelming all round with neither side able to put together enough pieces of skill to cut loose in attack.

  7. Replacementpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 11 November 2017

    Scotland 32-17 Samoa

A change for Samoa straight after their second try.

Melani Matavao comes on for scrum half Pele Cowley and prop Donald Brighouse is replaced by Hisa Sasagi.

    England 14-3 Argentina

Argentina, back up to a full complement, are looking lively with cannonball hooker Agustin Creevy bouncing through Chris Robshaw and into the England 22m.

They just are not consistently accurate enough though.

Another error. Another turnover. And England have the chance to pull away from their own posts.

It's good! Piula Fa'asalele, the Samoa flanker, just evades a pile of feet and hands to get the ball down to the ground after a neat pirouette.

    Tim Nanai-Williams adds the extras.

    Samoa on the attack now.

They take their time with a pick-and-go as they edge towards the try line.

There are a few shouts from the blue shirts to indicate it's gone over the line through Piula Fa'asalele.

Only Mako Vunipola (nine) has made more tackles in the England ranks than Underhill's eight.

It's been the ideal start to the second half. Scotland sense they've got the upper hand on the Samoan forwards and that's the second time they've driven through the line successfully. They can keep taking advantage of this.

Anthony Watson steps off one foot and turns on the gas with another to leave some Pumas choking on dust.

A little bit of innovation as Ben Youngs clips a delicate chip over the top for half-back partner George Ford to gather.

Argentina scamper back, but Marcos Kremer took Henry Slade without the ball in his haste.

Bang in front and George Ford taps over a routine three.

    England 11-3 Argentina

England's discipline has been more remedial class than marching band.

Dan Cole throws himself into the spokes of an Argentine driving maul to give Juan Martin Hernandez another pot shot at goal.

This should be makeable - a wide angle but only 25m to cover.

But it is another shoddy contact and Hernandez slings the tee aside as the ball hooks off target.

After a Samoa scrum on the halfway line, the ball loops backwards and forwards between the full-backs. It's like watching a racquet sport.

And then Scotland sprint! Finn Russell, to Ben Toolis, to Ali Price. Look at them go!

Eventually, the attack is thwarted when Price is bundled over in Samoa's 22.
