    Rewind!

Israel Folau had gone over on the right after Ireland's Bundee Aki had been turned over.

But relief for the Irish, the officials spot that Adam Coleman had tackled Iain Henderson off the ball in an earlier passage of play.

    Unlucky Australia.

    Australia 8-9 Ireland

Best play of the half so far by Conor Murray.

The Munster player sees a gap about 20 yards out and breaks before a low kick that trundles out of play just past the corner flag.

    Good quick thinking initially though.

    Australia 8-6 Ireland

The Irish are penalised for not releasing the ball. Good work by David "Pokey" Pocock.

Time for Carbery to tee up.

Ireland back on the attack - about 15 yards out.

The men in green must have had strong cuppas at the break. Australia's defence is being severely tested.

CJ Stander - who loves running through people - starts motoring from about 30 yards out. The tryline is approaching - he's over, but the attentions of Haylett-Petty and Koroibete prevents the Ireland man from grounding the ball.

The stats show that possession is quite even. The difference is the backs - Ireland have had no change while Australia have had plenty of joy down the left.

So far it's not been the greatest start to the Tests for the Irish, but they have got the better of the Aussies in recent times - albeit on their own patch.

And what about England in SA? Bar a trip to New Zealand, it's the ultimate test for any touring party.
