If this is the first time you're dipping your toe in the Autumn Nations Cup waters, here's how it works.

There were two groups of four. Every team played each other (with the exception of Fiji who weren't able to play any of their group games because of a coronavirus outbreak).

This weekend, each team is playing the side that finished in the equivalent place in the other group to determine final placings.

England won all their group games against Ireland, Wales and Georgia. France beat Scotland and Italy and were given a 28-0 win against Fiji when that match was cancelled.

And here they both find themselves in the final. Simple.

    Queue

More than two and a half hours before kick-off, fans were queuing to get back into Twickenham.

It the first time fans have been allowed into an England game since the 33-30 win over Wales nine months ago.

The screens in the ticket office are on, but there are no walk-ups available. Of the 2000 fans in the stadium today, only 1000 are paying customers. They secured their tickets a while ago. Four hundred tickets have gone to NHS workers, 50 of whom will be seated in the Royal Box, and the rest have gone to players' families, sponsors and the rest.

So fans are finally back at Twickenham. It's all very exciting.

The queues for the bars should be a bit shorter than usual with just 2,000 rattling around in there and I'm sure there will still be a few renditions of Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.

France's team does not look quite so familiar.

The French Federation agreed with the country's Top14 league that players would only feature in three matches this autumn.

Because of that, around 25 players are unavailable for this match meaning we won't see stars like Antoine Dupont or Virimi Vakatawa today.

Instead, Les Bleus have a total of 68 caps in their starting XV compared to England's 813.

Scrum-half Baptiste Couilloud will captain the side on his first international start, while uncapped number eight Selevasio Tolofua also starts.

France: Dulin; Raka, Moefana, Danty, Villiere; Jalibert, Couilloud; Kolingar, Bourgarit, Aldegheri, Geraci, Pesenti, Woki, Jelonch, Tofofua.

Replacements: Mauvaka, Neti, Atonio, Ducat, Macalou, Bezy, Carbonel, Barassi.

England were forced into a late change, with Mako Vunipola unable to play because of an Achilles injury he picked up in last weekend's win against Wales.

Luckily, the side are fairly gifted in the loose-head prop department so Ellis Genge was promoted to the starting XV on Saturday, with Joe Marler brought onto the bench.

The only other change is on the wing where Anthony Watson replaces the injured Jonathan Joseph. Joe Marchant and Max Malins are also drafted in to the replacements.

England: Daly; Watson, Slade, Farrell (capt), May; Ford, Youngs; Genge, George, Sinckler, Itoje, Launchbury, Curry, Underhill, B Vunipola.

Replacements: Cowan-Dickie, Marler, Stuart, Hill, Earl, Robson, Malins, Marchant.

It's England v France in the first (and maybe only?) Autumn Nations Cup final.

Les Bleus were the last side to beat England when they faced each other in Paris at the start of the 2020 Six Nations.

But now a very different French side travels to London. Here are the line-ups.

It may not be a classic autumn fixture. It may not be a classic French team. But here's hoping we still have all the ingredients for a decent crunch match at Twickenham.
