  1. 'The keeper maybe had it covered'published at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Just a tiny little bit of an opening.

The keeper maybe had it covered but it looked just about on target but it swung away, inches at the last moment.

  2. Postpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

Juve growing into this now. Francisco Conceicao gets into the box and hammers the ball across, cleared by his Portugal team-mate Bernardo Silva.

  3. Postpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 0-0 Monaco

    Ally McCoist
Former Rangers striker on TNT Sports

You could argue it's a poor finish from a player of Odegaard's quality. You can see what he's trying to do in finding that far top corner. Nice opening for Arsenal.

  4. Lots of City possession, no City chancespublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Man City

    Nedum Onuoha
Former Manchester City defender on MOTD: UEFA Champions League

There has not been any great tempo to City’s play so far, but they are seeing lots of the ball, which is what they would have wanted.

Despite all their possession, City are not creating much at the moment - but that is mostly down to Juve being happy to sit back for most of the first 20 minutes.

You can hear more from Onuoha on MOTD: Uefa Champions League at 22:40 BST on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.

  5. Postpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 0-0 Monaco

Martin Odegaard looks to sprinkle some quality on to proceedings. He gets the ball from Bukayo Saka, cuts in from the right flank on to his left foot and aims for the top corner. Not this time though, with the ball going over the top.

  6. Postpublished at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

Juve winger Kenan Yildiz smashes a shot in from 25 yards but it's just wide of the far post. First shot of the gsme for either team.

  7. Postpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

There's never been a classic game of chess. And I say that as someone who won a gold medal in the Limerick Community Games at chess.

  8. Postpublished at 20:19 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 0-0 Monaco

Thomas Partey takes a throw-in on the right, only to give it straight to Monaco. Grumbles from the home fans. It's got scrappy. But the Monaco fans are having a good time, bouncing around in a corner of the Emirates.

  9. 'It is that classic game of chess'published at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

They have just been testing each other out, seeing where everyone's playing.

'Where is my man? Who do I mark? When we've got the ball, when we haven't, where's the space gonna be?'

It is that classic game of chess as they try to find each other's weaknesses.

Maybe Man City will actually kick into gear now KDB has taken off that ridiculous headband.

  12. Postpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

First mazy run from City winger Jeremy Doku and he's tripped over by Teun Koopmeiners. No card.

  13. 'Gaps will open up'published at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

The players such as De Bruyne, Doku, Grealish haven't really got on the ball much in the final third but gaps will open up.

It's just seeing if they can do something with it.

  14. Postpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

This game is being played at the pace of my son getting ready for bed or school. Ederson was just allowed to stand there with the ball at his feet for ages.

  15. Postpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 0-0 Monaco

    Alex Howell
BBC football news reporter at the Emirates Stadium

The Arsenal supporters aren't happy that the team has put the ball out. Breel Embolo had gone down but he gets up after the referee runs over to him.

  16. Feyenoord make fast startpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

Lukasz Lakomy has put Young Boys 1-0 up at Stuttgart and Gernot Trauner and Igor Paixao have given Feyenoord a dream start against Sparta Prague with their goals coming 89 seconds apart.

  17. Postpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

Heavy touch from Jack Grealish from Rico Lewis' ball. Lewis in the ol' 'is he a defender or a midfielder?' role.

  18. Postpublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

Ederson properly slices a clearance but no damage done as it lands to Josko Gvardiol.

  19. 'Beautiful movement from Golovin'published at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 0-0 Monaco

    Ally McCoist
Former Rangers striker on TNT Sports

He wanted it first time but he can't. He takes a touch - beautiful movement. He gets it out of his feet really well and curls it past the post. A good effort.

  20. Postpublished at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli does well to slide in and win the ball on the halfway line after it looked like he was slipping - because otherwise Erling Haaland was in one on one from the centre circle.
