A first look at goal for Monaco. Aleksandr Golovin hits it 25 yards out and David Raya is certainly panicking. He flings himself to his left and is very relieved to see the ball whip past the post and go wide.

    Arsenal 0-0 Monaco

    Ally McCoist

Clever football, good football. Jesus makes a great run on the blind side of the defender and is a little bit unlucky. Great ball from Merino.

  6. 'These fans are absolutely up for it'published at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

    Pat Nevin
Former Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

The atmosphere has not changed a great deal no matter what the stadium looks like.

The fans have been fantastic from the start of this game and considering the difficult run they have been having, they are absolutely up for it.

The thing is their team can't get a kick of the ball just now, City are trying to close them down high up the field. This is important to see if they are capable of doing it.

  7. Postpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 0-0 Monaco

Very bright from Arsenal. Mikel Merino fizzes a low ball across the face of goal from left to right, but a sliding in Gabriel Jesus can't get a touch to divert it goalwards.

  8. Postpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

All that City possession and Juventus have the first chance. Danilo plays it through to Dusan Vlahovic, whose shot is blocked by Ruben Dias.

Although a late offside flag goes up. But maybe he was onside.

  9. Arteta needs striker Jesus to get firing soonpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 0-0 Monaco

    Alex Howell
BBC football news reporter at the Emirates Stadium

Gabriel Jesus has had Arsenal's first shot of the game but it wasn't convincing.

He hasn't scored for Arsenal for 31 games. Mikel Arteta said that he won't be leaving in January but he needs the Brazilian to get firing soon.

  10. Postpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal 0-0 Monaco

A first chance for Arsenal and it comes after Gabriel Martinelli won the ball 25 yards out, it fell to Martin Odegaard and he slid a pass through to Gabriel Jesus.

The Brazilian struck it left footed but it never really had the power to test Radoslaw Majecki in the away goal and it was a comfortable save.

    Juventus 0-0 Manchester City

    Pat Nevin

Both teams need to get something out of this.

A draw is not a disaster for both of them, it keeps them in it however the team that loses it is under major pressure.

    Here we go.

  17. 'Arsenal have gone backwards this year'published at 19:59 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal v Monaco (20:00 GMT)

    Stephen Warnock
Former Premier League defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I know Mikel Arteta loves to add midfielders and goals to his midfield and surrounding the wingers but I hate to say, I feel like they have gone backwards this year.

When I have watched them this season I don't think they have been as dominant in games and as productive in games. They create opportunities, they're not being clinical.

The ball, the way it's being moved around hasn't been as quick, apart from Saka I don't think Trossard has lit the world on fire, I don't think Martinelli has as well.

  18. Postpublished at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

Juventus v Manchester City (20:00 GMT)

Bernardo Silva is making his 74th appearance for Manchester City in the Champions League, the most of any player for the club in the competition.

  19. 'The weight of expectation has grown a little bit heavy on the shoulders'published at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December

    Arsenal v Monaco (20:00 GMT)

    Stephen Warnock
Former Premier League defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think there's always pressure when you're Arsenal Football Club [to win a trophy]. I also think with the money that they have spent in recent years, they have spent an awful lot of money to try and compete for the title and they have come up short against Manchester City.

People say there's no shame in that but then they were tipped this year to win the title by many who thought they would improve from last year, gain confidence from going so close but they haven't because the weight of expectation has grown a little bit heavy on the shoulders, they've had a few injuries, a really makeshift back four tonight and their squad is really being tested.

I still think they need an out and out striker.
