    As the full time whistle goes there are a few initial boos but then they are well drowned out by plenty of applause, the Southampton fans show their appreciation for the effort their team have put in tonight.

    Crystal Palace looked far from their best but found a way to snatch a point and their fans are buzzing, still singing away in the far corner to my left.
