    Oh Southampton.

Palace find an equaliser in injury time as substitute Matheus Franca nods in from Jefferson Lerma's left-wing cross.

We enter the final moments of this game and Southampton fans are continuing to cheer their side on in an attempt to get over the line.

Apart from a few flashes, Palace have not done much to threaten Aaron Ramsdale's goal.

Bringing on Nketiah for Mateta offered a very different kind of outlet up front but the former Arsenal striker has not got on the ball or into the dangerous areas that Oliver Glasner will have wanted.

The Palace boss is now looking more frustrated on the side lines, waving his hands and asking for more from his side, a final push.

Ivan Juric is continuing to live every kick of the ball down there on the touchline.

Only a matter of time before Leicester get relegated, really. Still, it is now the best part of a decade since their miraculous league title, and they've never really rebuilt, after the exodus of their top players. Ruud van Nistelrooy is clearly not up to Premier League management and was a knee-jerk appointment, and Jamie Vardy now seems a spent force at this level. Seeing him subbed off so early tonight is a perfect metaphor for how far Leicester have fallen since that incredible achievement.

Tonali just scored a copy of Beardsley's goal v Norwich (April 1995) in the same goal, but Sandro was even wider! Goal of the season?

    Man City 2-0 Leicester

This win will put Manchester City into the top four, leapfrogging Chelsea, who play Tottenham tomorrow.

Leicester get a rare opportunity but the pass is overhit. Manchester City almost make a bit of a mess of defending the attack at the back but they somehow get away with it.

All the talk of Champions League football, and now we're barely in the top half of the league. How fickle this game can be!

Curtis Jones doing OK at right-back today but I doubt he's being seen as Trent Alexander-Arnold's replacement.

I think this game is a signal of intent from Emery. Its not going to be pretty, but it will be efficient and controlled in the run in. Something we haven't been all season.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:28 British Summer Time 2 April

    Man City 2-0 Leicester

Well this is a very welcome sight for Manchester City fans. Particularly after another week of bad news when it comes to injuries.

Oscar Bobb comes on to make his first appearance of the season after breaking his leg in pre-season.

    Savinho makes way.
