  1. 'I don't know what happened in the dressing room'published at 22:34 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February

    FT: Wolves 1-2 Fulham

    Wolves

Wolves boss Vitor Pereira speaking to TNT Sports: "If you start a game conceding a goal like we did, and you go for the second half and you concede another goal like we did. We have to look at ourselves and correct what we should correct.

"We lost the opportunity to win three important points and now we have to start working on the mistakes and to correct."

On what he said to his players: "Maybe the dressing room makes a slip. I don't know what happened in the dressing room because we went in there two times and then we conceded two very easy goals."

On the positives: "It's difficult. The reaction after the goal we tried to change the result. We started o play our way to try and push them , creating situations to score but two times in the same game is too much."

On lack of a centre-forward: "The problem is [Jorgen Strand] Larsen is the only striker we have. He came from injury. If he got another injury it would be a big problem for us."

On avoiding relegation: "We must play at our level, and believe in our qualities and be focused from the first minute. This is the lesson from today, we cannot allow these easy goals from them in the first and the second half."

  2. 'Hard for me to decide between Muniz and Jimenez'published at 22:32 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February

    Fulham

Fulham boss Marco Silva speaking to TNT Sports: "Very good things. The level of the Premier League and all the demands to play at this level and to take the risk and when we changed five players, we know the quality is always there but the routine is always tough and the 90 minutes for some players is not easy. This is the first thing that pleases me. It showed our togetherness, everybody was clear in what we had to do.

"The way we started was two quick goals from ourselves and we were solid second half. We scored early in second half and controlled the game in a different way than we normally do, we didn't have much of the ball until the last 15 minutes when we had some chances to kill the game. But they didn't have one chance in the second half, I think we did really well. In some moments we have to win games like we won tonight."

On the two goals: "Great finishing, you know Ryan Sessegnon has that capacity to arrive in the right moments at the right spot and to be there. A great finish for him. You can see many moments from the training ground.

"What a goal from Rodrigo, amazing game. He is in a very good moment, great moments from him and Raul [Jimenez], it's hard for me to decide."

Crystal Palace are flying at the moment under Oliver Glasner. They had a good result against Fulham at the weekend and to score four goals against a very good Villa side is a big result.

A lot of people were worried at the start of the season that they might be in a relegation scrap, and they were struggling, but they got their big players back and they are firing.

  5. 'We have to move on and be motivated'published at 22:30 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February

FT: Crystal Palace 4-1 Aston Villa

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We played fantastic in our gameplan in the first 30 minutes.

"We were dominating and attacking the box. We had one goal [ruled out]. Then we conceded one goal and we progressed being worse.

"The second half we didn't start very good. We tried to keep the gameplan consistency. They were getting some transitions and getting better than us in the duels.

"We have to accept it, and it is disappointing how we lost today 4-1 but we have to be excited and motivated for Friday in the FA Cup.

"We have some players playing a lot of matches in a few days. We, of course, have to use different players.

"After today, with a loss, it is difficult to try to explain everything. We have to move on and be motivated in the competitions - FA Cup and Champions League and get the balance in the Premier League."

  6. 'Mateta looks unplayable at times under Glasner'published at 22:29 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Chelsea & Fulham goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

The one player for me who has shown how important it can be to play under a certain manager is Jean-Philippe Mateta.

He's scored 24 Premier League goals in 39 appearances under Oliver Glasner. Before that he had only scored 11 goals in 80 games.

Something has clicked. He looks a different player. At times he looks unplayable.

  7. 'All the credit to the players' - Glasnerpublished at 22:27 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February

FT: Crystal Palace 4-1 Aston Villa

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Everybody is happy. Everybody is pleased with the win. Congrats to the players for this great performance. Really pleased today. We had a good first half.

"Momentum of the game can change when you face a team with the quality of Villa. We didn't allow the momentum changes, and we kept going. We were very aggressive and waited for our chances. We scored fantastic goals, all the credit to the players."

On Ismaila Sarr: "We don't have time to celebrate. In four days we face Millwall. Of course, a win, and a goal, and a great performance from him and the team - great birthday for him."

On form lately: "To be honest, the first time we didn't speak about winning this game. We talked about what we wanted to do.

"They matched us, but the players know what they have to do, and they did it in a fantastic intensity. We talked about what we want to do and what we need to do. The result is the consequence of a great performance."

  8. 'A dominant performance'published at 22:26 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February

Crystal Palace goalscorer Eddie Nketiah, speaking to Premier League Productions: "Nice to get the win and the first one in the Premier League. Nice to share that moment.

"It was a good performance. First and second half we reacted well. A dominant performance, but we were clinical in the second half.

“It was nice to win at home and put that losing run to bed.

"The mood is buzzing, the music is bouncing and everyone is happy."

I hear every week how many players are injured here and there - whenever these teams lose. Why can't we just concede the winning teams that they were better? Palace outplayed Villa every second of the match. Full credit to their players and Oliver Glasner.

  10. 'We competed well, but it is not enough - we move on'published at 22:23 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February

FT: Crystal Palace 4-1 Aston Villa

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery, speaking to TNT Sports: "We were competing well until the first goal we conceded. Good positioning and we were dominating the match. We have one goal [ruled out].

"The first chance they had, they scored. Then they got some transitioning. Second half we tried to come back, but then we scored, and we were excited and motivated to try to continue controlling the game with our positioning.

"They scored the second goal, and we lost our positioning, we conceded transitions, and they scored two more goals. It was a tough result. We competed well, but it is not enough - we move on."

On Emiliano Martinez's injury: "He was feeling some pain. Even yesterday, he trained well, but before the match he felt better and felt confident to play.

"At half-time he told us he was not feeling good. So we decided to change him."

On other injuries: "We have some players injured, but we will not use this excuse. We have to focus on the Premier League. Now we have two competitions [FA Cup and Champions League to play]."

  11. 'We know we have a great chance in every game we play'published at 22:21 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February

FT: Crystal Palace 4-1 Aston Villa

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, speaking to TNT Sports: "Great win. The fans were unbelievable. We had to be patient - Villa are a top side.

"We know if we stick to the plan we would get the chances. Eddie [Nketiah], buzzing for him, first goal in the Premier League [for Crystal Palace].

"The home form has not been the best, but we are not thinking about that.

"We know the tactics that the gaffer has given us and if we stick to the plan, we know we have a great chance in every game we play."

Aston Villa forward Morgan Rogers, speaking to TNT Sports: "I thought first half we did pretty well, they scored against the run of play. We did well to get back into the game.

"We probably didn't stamp our authority on the game, we probably made it too easy for them to get through us. They deserved the win. We were not good enough and, yes, it's one of those games."

On injuries: "We are not going to make excuses for that. Last week, we were talking about how good our subs are off the bench. We just weren't good enough today.

"We need to look at ourselves and go again. We have games coming thick and fast in other competitions."

  13. 'Perfect night'published at 22:17 Greenwich Mean Time 25 February

    Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace forward Jean-Philippe Mateta, speaking to TNT Sports: "Perfect night. We stayed patient, we knew the chances were coming and we stuck to the plan.

"I am happy. I work hard and when I play with this player [Adam Wharton] I can score every game."

It has been a stroll for Chelsea.

At times in the second half they have been happy to sit back a bit and hit Southampton on the counter, although they have taken control of the ball again.

The visitors just seemed to be going through the motions a little bit.

Southampton don't have enough in the team to be able to claw it back. It looks like some of the players have given up.

Looking at the recovery runs for the fourth Chelsea goal, the players just looked like they know they are doomed.

    FT: Chelsea 4-0 Southampton

    Clinton Morrison
Former Republic of Ireland striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I don't think that there is any chance Ivan Juric is Southampton manager next season. I'm not trying to be disrespectful but I don't know why they appointed him in the first place. They are no better off than under Russell Martin, they may as well have kept him.
