    Alex Howell
BBC football news reporter at Selhurst Park

Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez was subbed at half time of the defeat to Palace and was replaced by Robin Olsen.

Manager Unai Emery has just been into his press conference and confirmed that it was a precaution.

"He was feeling yesterday a little bit some pain. He trained and today he did the warm up and he was feeling good. He was feeling some pain and we had to take him off." Emery said.

Aaron Ramsdale really trusts his wall and leaves a huge gap to his left. Cole Palmer opts to go the side Ramdale is standing and it's an easy save for the Southampton keeper.

I fear this is just papering over the cracks for Chelsea, they won't be playing Southampton every week.

I think Cole Palmer has triple-captained himself and collapsed under the self-imposed pressure.

Cole Palmer needs a rest? He's only played 4 more matches than Saka has so far this season and that's with Saka having been injured for 2 months! Palmer's had plenty of matches where he's been rested due to not playing in European competition etc, so he can't be that tired, surely?!

Third time lucky for Tyrique George after a shot on goal that was blocked and a lay off that didn't quite go to plan - third time he cut back to Marc Cucurella near the penalty spot. A really cool, calm finish from the defender, slammed it past Aaron Ramsdale.

Bad result that for Wolves. With the way Man Utd are playing and with Old Trafford likely being a quiet atmosphere Ipswich will fancy their chances of winning to close the points gap to 2 points.

Moises Caicedo finds Tyrique George wide on the left. This time he looks to find Christopher Nkunku with a back heel but it doesn't go to plan. Might've been better off having a strike there, it opened up for George in the box.
