RE Merino - I don't think anyone is expecting fireworks, just for him to be a bigger threat then Sterling. Not everything needs such dramatic hyperbole.

  4. Postpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

The pressure continues to build on the West Ham goal.

Riccardo Calafiori unleashes a powerful drive from distance but Alphonse Areola is able to deal with it.

  5. goal

GOAL - Southampton 0-1 Brightonpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Joao Pedro (23 mins)

    It has been coming.

Joao Pedro plays a one-two with Georginio Rutter, beats the offside trap, and then dinks the ball over an onrushing Aaron Ramsdale.

    Great finish.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Bournemouth 0-0 Wolves

Second card of the game. This one goes to Milos Kerkez after a trip on Joao Gomes on the edge of the Bournemouth box.

It took Michael Salisbury an age to give the free-kick but he eventually did and got the card out.

  7. 'Test of patience for Arsenal'published at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

This is a test of patience for Arsenal. A lot of their games this season have been a bit clunky, they've not really been free flowing. They just need to show discipline to keep going and wait for the breakthrough.

  8. Postpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

Mikel Merino is looking lively as he continues to adapt to his new role in Mikel Arteta's team. The Spaniard tries to catch West Ham off-guard with a quick shot but it's never troubling Alphonse Areola's goal.

  9. Postpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Southampton 0-0 Brighton

    Brighton are on top.

A cross from the right is met by Karou Mitoma but the Japan international pokes wide when he should at least be hitting the target.

  10. 'Ipswich not taking their chances'published at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Ipswich 0-1 Tottenham

    Glenn Murray
Former Brighton striker on Final Score

It's all about Ipswich not taking their chances.

Son whips it across the face of goal and Brennan Johnson is there to tap it in.

  11. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Fulham 0-0 Crystal Palace

A long ball over the top is only half cleared by Maxence Lacroix.

Adama Traore picks up the loose ball and shoots quickly but Lacroix is able to block behind for a corner.

The corner is cleared at the near post and Alex Iwobi leathers an effort miles over.

Merino worked as a substitute because Leicester were caught off-guard and didn't know what to do with him. Knowing he's starting means West Ham can adjust to cope with him; don't expect fireworks just because he scored two against a terrible Leicester.

  13. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

Riccardo Calafiori is the latest Arsenal player to sneak in down the left flank from Leandro Trossard's nicely-weighted pass - or at least he appears to be until the linesman's flag is raised for an offside.

Mohamed Kudus becomes the first West Ham player to touch the ball in the Arsenal penalty area after 18 minutes and the second, from the head of Tomas Soucek, goes just over the bar.

A first show of intent from the Hammers, but Arsenal survive.

  14. goal

GOAL - Ipswich 0-1 Tottenhampublished at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Brennan Johnson (18 mins)

Ipswich are made to pay for their early misses!

It's wonderful from Son Heung-min who reaches the bye-line with a step-over and cuts the ball back for Brennan Johnson who has an easy tap-in.

  15. Postpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Southampton 0-0 Brighton

Almost the opener for Brighton as Carlos Baleba's free-kick deflects wickedly off the wall and only just bounces over with Aaron Ramsdale beaten.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Bournemouth 0-0 Wolves

The closest the hosts have come so far.

Matt Doherty makes a mess of a clearance and that allows Antoine Semenyo to drive at the Wolves defence and thread through for Justin Kluivert.

He's got to take on the effort straight away because of the advancing Jose Sa but his dink is blocked.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Ipswich 0-0 Tottenham

Brennan Johnson is booked after dragging Leif Davies to the ground.

  18. 'Hard for West Ham to deal with ball to far post'published at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

That is twice now that Arsenal have played a drifted ball into the far post for Mikel Merino. He is there waiting for it and West Ham know it is coming.

West Ham have lined up with three centre halves and know they have to try and stop it but when Arsenal work the ball back and then throw it in it is hard to deal with.

  19. Postpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

    Arsenal get closer still.

Good movement by Mikel Merino, who times a run towards the back post, but the lifted ball into his path comes at an awkward height and he can't quite divert it on target.

  20. Postpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Ipswich 0-0 Tottenham

Great last-ditch challenge from Ipswich's Jacob Greaves to deny Brennan Johnson a tap-in.

Tottenham are getting closer with the ball almost teed up for Johnson after Lucas Bergvall's effort was blocked.
