  1. CLOSE!published at 13:41 BST 16 August

    Derby 2-2 Coventry

Haji Wright knocks it down into the path of Brandon Thomas-Asante, who lets fly from outside the area running onto the ball.

He catches it so sweetly, but it's a couple of yards past Jacob Widell Zetterstrom's post.

A slightly late start to this half after playing six minutes of injury time in the first period.

No changes at the break. Will there be any change to entertainment levels?

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:39 BST 16 August

    Portsmouth 0-2 Norwich

Norwich have made a change at the interval - an enforced one, you'd presume, as Emiliano Marcondes was down injured towards the end of the first period.

Liam Manning switches one Danish player for another, with Oscar Schwartau on to replace his countryman for the second half.

  4. Postpublished at 13:38 BST 16 August

    Wrexham 1-1 West Brom

Play switches quickly to the other end after that chance for Wrexham and West Brom win a corner.

Nat Phillips (who won't want to see his contribution to the Wrexham equaliser by the way) heads wide.

    It's lively stuff.

  5. Postpublished at 13:36 BST 16 August

    Wrexham 1-1 West Brom

Ooooh so close to a Wrexham go-ahead goal inside the opening 30 seconds of the second period.

George Campbell has his pocket picked on the byline by Kieffer Moore who finds Lewis O'Brien - it's a lovely flick from the Wrexham goalscorer but Nathan Broadhead - on his debut- slots his shot inches wide.

    What a start!

  8. A day of protest awaits at Hillsboroughpublished at 13:27 BST 16 August

By the time I arrived here at Hillsborough about 45 minutes ago all of the good parking spaces near the ground were taken and the Beres pork sandwich shop near the ground had a queue out of the door.

But many of these fans aren't here in such a timely fashion just to nab a prime parking spot and they're certainly not here because of a sense of early-season optimism.

A good number will be heading to Hillsborough Park next door to the ground to protest against the ownership of Dejphon Chansiri after a dreadful summer that has seen the club plunged into chaos amid unpaid wages.

The protest, which will feature a funeral procession for the troubled club, will start at 13:45 BST and is scheduled to go on throughout the match outside the ground, while it's understood there will be a whistle protest in the stadium shortly after kick off.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:22 BST 16 August

    Derby 2-2 Coventry

Derby County's Carlton Morris celebratesImage source, PA Media

What a half of Championship football - must be the best of the season so far!

Visiting Coventry have led twice, hosts Derby have twice pegged them back.

All four goals have come from set-pieces with two of them penalties and the best kind - absolute stonewallers!

The second half will do well to match this entertainment.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:20 BST 16 August

    Portsmouth 0-2 Norwich

Norwich look comfortable after that early double burst from Harry Darling and Josh Sargent.

Pompey had a glimmer of an opening just before half time as Connor Shaughnessy flicked Adrian Segecic's cross into the box, but the ball wouldn't fall to a team-mate.

All to do for the home side, who may need some words of inspiration from John Mousinho at the break.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 BST 16 August

    Wrexham 1-1 West Brom

Isaac Price celebrates scoring at WrexhamImage source, Rex Features

I think West Brom will be disappointed with that and Wrexham relieved.

The away side have had the better of things and led through a tidy finish from Isaac Price.

Tom Fellows has blazed over and Darnell Furlong fired wide as they controlled much of the half.

But a brief flurry from Wrexham just before the break saw Josh Griffiths deny James McClean and Kieffer Moore head over before the levelled.

Moore's cross arrived at the feet of Lewis O'Brien and his bouncing effort beat Griffiths.

Record signing Nathan Broadhead is on for his Wrexham debut as he replaced the injured Josh Windass.

  12. 'A definite handball'published at 13:18 BST 16 August

    Derby 2-2 Coventry

    Eric Steele
Former Derby and Man Utd goalkeeper on BBC Radio Derby

On the balance of play, I think that's a fair score to take into half-time.

It was a definite handball, credit to the officials there.

    This is proper Championship football!

  13. goal

GOAL: Derby 2-2 Coventrypublished at 13:17 BST 16 August

    Carlton Morris (45+2 mins pen)

A very different penalty to the one from Haji Wright, but the same outcome for Carlton Morris.

He waits for Carl Rushworth to dive to his right and calmly rolls into the opposite side.

Two in two for Morris since his summer switch from Luton.

  14. Postpublished at 13:16 BST 16 August

    Wrexham 1-1 West Brom

We are into an extra three minutes.

  15. 'Moore is causing a real problem'published at 13:15 BST 16 August

    Wrexham 1-1 West Brom

    Tony Brown
West Brom's all-time record scorer on BBC Radio WM

We've spoken about all the danger the big-man can cause, Moore has been dealt with in the air so well, so they let him have it on the ground.

He's causing a real problem at the moment.

    Albion didn't pick him up.

  16. PENALTY TO DERBYpublished at 13:15 BST 16 August

    Derby 1-2 Coventry

    HANDBALL!

Ryan Nyambe sends in a cross from the right, Bobby Thomas goes up and the cross appears set to go over him until his hand, above his head, nudges the ball away.

Thomas complains that he was pushed by Matt Clarke, but not a very convincing argument for referee Anthony Backhouse.

    Lewis O'Brien (42 mins)

Lewis O'Brien of Wrexham scores a goal and celebrates 1-1.Image source, Rex Features

A first Wrexham goal for Lewis O'Brien.

Kieffer Moore out wide this time and his cross comes off James McClean invitingly into the path of O'Brien who hits a shot into the ground which bounces into the net.

That little flurry just before the goal gave the home side some impetus and they're level.

  18. Postpublished at 13:12 BST 16 August

    Derby 1-2 Coventry

Coventry are starting to get a bit of control in this match as they have forced a few corners with some good play.

Can they nab a third before the break?

  19. Postpublished at 13:12 BST 16 August

    Portsmouth 0-2 Norwich

Into the last five minutes of the first half and still no sign of a route back into this contest for the home side.

Norwich are continuing to try their luck when they get within range of goal, but both Mirko Topic and Marcelino Nunez have been off target.

Liam Manning won't mind too much, provided the Canaries' defence remains intact.

  20. Postpublished at 13:12 BST 16 August

    Wrexham 0-1 West Brom

Wrexham finally force Josh Griffiths into a save.

They press West Brom at the back, win the ball and get it into James McClean just inside the box.

McCLean turns on his right foot and Griffiths saves down at his near post.

The ensuing corner is headed over by Kieffer Moore at the far post - he'll think he should have done better with that.
