    Derby 3-5 Coventry

The Coventry fans are now in full voice, as for the first time today the Sky Blues have got a real degree of control over this contest.

In truth, their response to going 3-2 down early in this half has been outstanding.

Paul: If today is any indication of how Wrexham are going to defend this season then they’re going back down. Rubbish.

Derby fans might be asking you to hold their beer, Paul...

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:17 BST 16 August

    Derby 3-5 Coventry

Now a fourth sub for Derby as Liam Thompson's afternoon is done.

    Kenzo Goudmijn takes his place.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:17 BST 16 August

    Wrexham 1-3 West Brom

New signing Toby Collyer is on for West Brom.

The Manchester United youngster replaces two-goal hero Isaac Price who may just have added a few more pounds to his asking price (no pun intended)

  5. 'There's still time'published at 14:17 BST 16 August

    Portsmouth 1-2 Norwich

    Guy Whittingham
Former Portsmouth manager on BBC Radio Solent

You’ve got to make things happen in this situation, you can’t sit back.

Pompey have made something happen and there’s still time here.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:16 BST 16 August

    Derby 3-5 Coventry

We have had over 80 minutes of play and eight goals and finally we have a change.

Three of them in fact for the Rams.

On come Andreas Weimann, Joe Ward and Bobby Clark.

Has the horse already bolted though?

  7. 'There were tired legs'published at 14:16 BST 16 August

    Derby 3-5 Coventry

    Eric Steele
Former Derby and Man Utd goalkeeper on BBC Radio Derby

We didn't have anybody within 10 or 15 yards there.

The keeper couldn't react, he had to just watch the ball go past.

We said 15 minutes ago that there were tired legs and it's already too late.

  8. goal

GOAL: Portsmouth 1-2 Norwichpublished at 14:15 BST 16 August

    Adrian Segecic (84 mins)

    Hang on a minute!

Did we write Pompey off prematurely?

Adrian Segecic has had a few pops at goal in this second half - and this one, driven on his left foot, zips beyond Vladan Kovacevic and into the corner to give the home side renewed hope.

A first goal in Portsmouth colours for the Australian midfielder.

  9. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 14:13 BST 16 August

    Portsmouth 0-2 Norwich

OK, this is when Portsmouth fans might start to concede it's not going to be their day.

Florian Bianchini is brought down in the box by Kellen Fisher and the referee points to the spot.

But... Vladan Kovacevic does the business for Norwich, diving to push away Colby Bishop's spot-kick and it remains 2-0.

Surely three points for the Canaries now.

  10. goal

GOAL: Derby 3-5 Coventrypublished at 14:13 BST 16 August

    Victor Torp (79 mins)

Is that game, set and match Coventry City?

Milan van Ewijk again gets forward to good effect down the right and he lays back into the path of Victor Torp.

The Dane is afforded a bit of space on the edge of the box and that is big trouble for Derby as he arrows his strike into the bottom corner, kissing the far post on the way in.

  11. 'They have to win every battle'published at 14:12 BST 16 August

    Wrexham 1-3 West Brom

    Tony Brown
West Brom's all-time record scorer on BBC Radio WM

Albion have got to do a defensive job now.

They have to win every battle.

    It's been a resolute performance.

  12. Postpublished at 14:11 BST 16 August

    Derby 3-4 Coventry

Coventry now lead for a third time. Will that be decisive?

Some of their attacking and approach play today has been excellent.

But Derby are not going to give this one up lightly.

  13. goal

GOAL Wrexham 1-3 West Brompublished at 14:10 BST 16 August

    Isaac Price (81 mins)

    The Price is right!

Mikey Johnston has two assists since coming on.

He sends in a lovely cross and Isaac Price makes the run to arrive perfectly and head home - three goals for him this season and three for the Baggies today.

The away side are full value for this scoreline.

  14. 'This game just keeps on giving'published at 14:10 BST 16 August

    Derby 3-4 Coventry

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

This game just keeps on giving.

Credit to Mason Clark who gets behind the full-back and the Sky Blues are back in front.

What a ball from Van Ewijk.

  15. Postpublished at 14:09 BST 16 August

    Portsmouth 0-2 Norwich

Colby Bishop scored three times last time Portsmouth played Norwich and his side would settle for the striker doing it just once right now.

Adrian Segecic creates another opportunity for Bishop, but he nods it wide and the sands of time are beginning to run out for the home side.

That's why Norwich have just used up their last two substitutions, with Josh Sargent and Papa Diallo withdrawn in favour of Mathias Kvistgaarden and Jeffrey Schlupp.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:08 BST 16 August

    Wrexham 1-2 West Brom

    More changes.

Wrexham do have plenty of firepower and on comes Sam Smith for Matty James.

West Brom may be looking to just seal things up a little as on comes Ousmane Diakite for the hobbling Alex Mowatt.

  17. goal

GOAL: Derby 3-4 Coventrypublished at 14:08 BST 16 August

    Ephron Mason-Clark (75 mins)

Will this be the game of the entire Championship season?!

    This is insane!

A superb Coventry attack ends with their fourth goal. A galloping run from right-back Milan van Ewijk to deliver a superb cross to the back post.

And there is Ephron Mason-Clark, who scores with a fantastic header guided into the bottom corner.

  18. 'Coventry are back in it'published at 14:07 BST 16 August

    Derby 3-3 Coventry

    Steve Ogrizovic
Ex-Coventry City goalkeeper on BBC CWR

    What a game this is!

Another set-piece, Asante is the first to react and Coventry are back in this game.

Coventry have been the better side and could find the winner but you can't rule Derby out.

  19. goal

GOAL: Derby 3-3 Coventrypublished at 14:05 BST 16 August

    Brandon Thomas-Asante (72 mins)

    The Sky Blues are level!

Milan van Ewijk's long throw is right into the mixer and Bobby Thomas climbs highest and his looping header comes back off the post.

Brandon Thomas-Asante reacts quickest and has the task of putting the ball in from all of a yard.

    What a game!

  20. 'Brilliant substitutions'published at 14:04 BST 16 August

    Wrexham 1-2 West Brom

    Tony Brown
West Brom's all-time record scorer on BBC Radio WM

    Hail the conquering manager!

The substitutions couldn't have worked any better, an excellent finish from Wallace.

    Brilliant substitutions.
