A incredible mural wall this season has opened outside the Town End stand at Deepdale.

It charts the clubs history from the 1860s to the present day. It was painted by local artist Shawn Sharpe this summer as part of their Invincibles project. See who you can spot!

Two sides who always believe they should be challenging for promotion meet at Carrow Road.

Two new managers and a star on each side subject to transfer speculation in the form of Josh Sargent and Finn Azaz.

Arguably, Sargent would be a bigger loss to Norwich than Finn Azaz to the visitors, with his three goals in three games for the Canaries so far this season.

Middlesbrough boss Rob Edwards was delighted with their ability to hold on to a victory away at Millwall and will be hoping to be as strong away today.

  3. Postpublished at 14:45 British Summer Time

    Coventry v QPR (15:00 BST)

    Nathan Albon
BBC Final Score at the CBS Arena

How about this for symmetry? Just over 20 years ago, Coventry had their first game here, and it was against QPR in the Championship. Today they meet again on the day Coventry have announced they've bought their ground.

One Cov fan has told me he woke up to 38 messages in the group chat - he says the stadium news is massive and 'Coventry are back'!

Oh and by the way, that match in 2005 finished Coventry 3-0 QPR. Might we see a repeat today?

  4. More late drama for Blues as Rowett returns?published at 14:43 British Summer Time

    Birmingham v Oxford (15:00 BST)

    Gary RowettImage source, Rex Features

I wonder if any Birmingham City fans will take any more late drama today? Chris Davies’ side had to come from a goal down to grab a last-gasp 2-1 victory against Blackburn last Saturday with striker Jay Stansfield proving instrumental scoring a 90th minute penalty then a winner in the 98th.

They’ll today aim to keep their unbeaten run going today when they host Oxford with striker Stansfield looking to score for the third consecutive game.

Blues sit in fourth having recorded a draw and win so far this season as they get used to life again the Championship. They are unbeaten across their past 26 home league games since a 1-0 defeat to Cardiff in April last year (W21 D5).

Oxford boss Gary Rowett returns to St Andrew’s to face his former club as the U's chase their first win of the season having been narrowly beaten 1-0 by Portsmouth and 3-2 by Hull City in their opening Championship fixtures.

This will be the first time that these two sides have met in the league since December 1998, which ended in a 7-1 victory for the West Midlands side.

  6. A big win for Leicester boss Cifuentespublished at 14:38 British Summer Time

    FT: Charlton 0-1 Leicester

    Chris Peddy
    BBC Sport at The Valley

An entertaining game settled by the finest of margins.

This feels like a much more significant result for Marti Cifuentes and Leicester than Charlton and Nathan Jones.

The Addicks have just returned to the second tier and they have pushed one of the favourites for promotion right to the end here.

Cifuentes' QPR side often found it hard to get over the line when they were the better team during his time at Loftus Road.

They've had a lot of the ball today yet only had six shots to Charlton's 20, yet with Abdul Fatawu's first goal since April 2024, they found a way to take home all three points.

  7. 'We need to keep building the momentum'published at 14:36 British Summer Time

    FT: Charlton 0-1 Leicester

    David Nugent
Ex-Leicester striker on BBC Radio Leicester

We need to build the momentum, we're not the perfect article just yet. It's three points on the road, we just need to keep building.

It was hard towards the end. Any chance they had to put it in the box they did, they put us under a lot of pressure, but we stood tall and dealt with it.

It's been a sticky start to the season, even today, it was just a moment of magic that won us this game. Hopefully the win will bring the fans and players a bit more united.

They worked hard today and it's nice to see the away fans clap and cheer them off.

  8. 'Not good enough at all'published at 14:34 British Summer Time

    FT: Hull 0-3 Blackburn

    Peter Swan
    BBC Radio Humberside

It's not good enough by a long way.

The manager shouldn't be protecting them, he should let them know that wasn't good enough. People pay hard-earned money to come and watch this.

Today it looked like 11 individuals that haven't played together at all, we didn't play the forward passes that we did the other day.

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:32 British Summer Time

    Swansea 1-1 Watford

A frantic end but spoils shared in south Wales after Zan Vipotnik came off the bench to cancel out Nestory Irankunda first Watford goal.

And what a first goal it was when Irankunda beutifully curled in a 25-yard free-kick in the first half to go in at the break 1-0 up.

But Swansea were the better side in the second half as they pressed for that equaliser and it came in the 82nd minute through Vipotnik's header.

Both sides have the same record now after three games with one loss, one win and now one draw.

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:28 British Summer Time

    Charlton 0-1 Leicester

Abdul Fatawu celebrates for LeicesterImage source, PA Media

Abdul Fatawu's fine solo goal proves the difference in a hard-fought battle.

Charlton's unbeaten start is over, as is Leicester's nine match winless streak on the road.

It's the first game the Addicks have lost at home since December 2024.

Jakub Stolarczyk did nearly as much to win it for the Foxes as Fatawu, making a stunning save to keep out Conor Coventry's swerver before the break and then making a fine reaction save at his near post to thwart Kayne Ramsay after the turnaround.

Seconds after that save Leicester played through the Charlton press and found Fatawu on the right to drift inside and bend a sumptuous effort into the far corner, a goal worthy of winning any match.

  11. Postpublished at 14:28 British Summer Time

    Charlton 0-1 Leicester

Very stretched, as you might imagine, and Harry Winks races clear and finds Patson Daka, who opts to shoot, seeing his effort in the box blocked, rather than finding the unmarked Silko Thomas on the right of the area.

  12. CLOSE!published at 14:27 British Summer Time

    Swansea 1-1 Watford

We're into NINE minutes added time as Watford defender Kevin Keben clears an effort off the line. Zan Vipotnik almost gets a second as Goncalo Franco's cross to him just misses him to tuck it away.

    Will we get a winner?

  13. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:25 British Summer Time

    Hull City 0-3 Blackburn

    Todd CantwellImage source, Rex Features

Third time's the charm as Blackburn pick up their first win of the season in some style.

Ryan Hedges' first goal since last August had them a goal to the good at the break and they ended the match as a contest in the opening five minutes of the second half.

First Yuki Ohashi touched in a Hedges' cross after a quick free-kick from Todd Cantwell and then skipper Cantwell got in on the act with a calm finish after being presented with an open shot at goal by some poor goalkeeper from Ivor Pandur.

Thereafter the away side missed several chances to add even more gloss to the scoreline on what was a wretched day for previously unbeaten Hull City.

  14. CLOSE!published at 14:23 British Summer Time

    Charlton 0-1 Leicester

As SIX additional minutes are added on a deep Addicks corner is nodded back into the middle where Tyreece Campbell can only steer a header over the bar from eight yards out.

He had time and space to do better there.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:22 British Summer Time

    Charlton 0-1 Leicester

Charlton are throwing everything forward at the moment with Lloyd Jones staying up top as a makeshift forward and proving a handful for Caleb Okoli in particular.

Macauley Gillesphey is coming on for Josh Edwards in the Addicks final change.

  16. Postpublished at 14:21 British Summer Time

    Hull City 0-3 Blackburn

Five minutes added on at the end of this.

In American sports they often refer to these minutes of a one-sided game as 'garbage time' and that's probably a good way that Hull City fans would sum up the quality of their day today.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 14:20 British Summer Time

    Charlton 0-1 Leicester

Greg Docherty and Miles Leaburn are off for the hosts with Tanto Olaofe and Joe Rankin-Costello sent on to try and spark an equaliser for the Addicks with five minutes plus added time remaining.

Charlton did have the ball in the net from a corner a few moments ago but Lloyd Jones' header was ruled-out for a foul in the mixer.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:19 British Summer Time

    Hull City 0-3 Blackburn

The game's done but a couple of notable subs for the home side.

Former Manchester United full-back Brandon Williams is on for his Tigers debut and his first competitive football since December 2023.

Winger Mohamed Belloumi makes his return from an anterior cruciate ligament injury. It's a first appearance since last November for the Algerian.

  19. 'Leicester under pressure'published at 14:18 British Summer Time

    Charlton 0-1 Leicester

    David Nugent
Ex-Leicester striker on BBC Radio Leicester

It's mistake after mistake for Leicester.

Every set-piece is exactly the same for Charlton, every single time they've managed to make contact.

They're piling on the pressure now, I think there's more goals in this game.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 14:17 British Summer Time

    Charlton 0-1 Leicester

Wout Faes is on for the visitors to try and see it out with Abdul Fatawu, the match-winner at present, making way.

Hamza Choudhary is also off, replaced by Ricardo Pereira.
