Goals in back-to-back games for Blackburn skipper Todd Cantwell.

He's been given the armband with Lewis Travis seemingly set for the exit and he seems to be thriving under the pressure.

The former Norwich City and Rangers man is a real talent at this level.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:53 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-1 Leicester

Marti Cifuentes wants to put this one to bed.

He's replaced teenage midfielder Louis Page with attacker Patson Daka who will lead the line.

  3. CLOSE!published at 13:50 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-1 Leicester

All Charlton at present. Miles Leaburn somehow corrals a high ball in the box, spins, and sees his near post strike on the stretch deflected behind for another corner.

Josh Edwards' corner drops to Sonny Carey but his fierce volley from 18 yards is blocked in a forest of legs.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:50 British Summer Time 23 August

    Swansea 0-1 Watford

Marko Stamenic comes on to make his debut for the Swans after his signing from Nottingham Forest and he's only gone and picked up a booking after a minute on the pitch for a foul on Watford goal scorer Nestory Irankunda.

  5. YELLOW CARDSpublished at 13:48 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-1 Leicester

Conor Coventry goes into the book for hauling back Boubakary Soumare as he threatened to break away. Taking one for the team, that's called.

Jordan Ayew follows him into the book for his protests to ref Dean Whitestone.

  6. Postpublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-1 Leicester

Miles Leaburn just puts a little too much force behind his angled through ball for Greg Docherty who had acres of space darting into the Foxes box and the ball rolls through to the grateful Jakub Stolarczyk.

Heads in hands all round for the Addicks, that was a real chance.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:46 British Summer Time 23 August

    Hull City 0-3 Blackburn

    It's so close to four!

Dom Hyam gets his head on Todd Cantwell's corner but sees his effort come back off the crossbar.

For those interested in this sort of thing you have to go back to September 1988 for the last time Blackburn scored three goals at Hull City.

They haven't hit four in an away fixture against the Tigers since April 1955.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:46 British Summer Time 23 August

    Swansea 0-1 Watford

Alan Sheehan has seen enough and calls upon his bench to make the game's first changes.

It's a double sub for the Swans as Malick Yalcouye and Eom Ji-Sung make way for Marko Stamenic and Zeidane Inoussa.

  9. CLOSE!published at 13:45 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-1 Leicester

The Addicks are seeking a quick response and a cross from the right breaks to Tyreece Campbell just beyond the far post but Hamza Choudhary does brilliantly to throw himself in the way of Campbell's strike and deflect behind for a corner.

It looked like the shot wasn't on but he just took that step to the left to get the space.

It hits the side netting and the keeper had no chance of saving it, it's a great finish.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:43 British Summer Time 23 August

    Swansea 0-1 Watford

A good start to the second half from the visitors as Lawrence Vigouroux is called into action to push over Luca Kjerrumgaard's shot over the bar.

  12. 'No positives for Hull'published at 13:42 British Summer Time 23 August

    Hull 0-3 Blackburn

    Peter Swan
    BBC Radio Humberside

    That is bad defending.

Going in at half-time, the positive was it was only 1-0. Five minutes later, it's now what is should have been in the first half.

    Abdul Fatawu (48 mins)

    Wow.

From one end to the other.

Leicester work the ball neatly through the Charlton press to Abdul Fatawu on the right. The winger drifts inside towards the box, gets a yard on Josh Edwards and bends a glorious effort from an angle into the far top corner of Thomas Kaminski's goal.

The first goal Charlton have allowed this season, from the first shot on target they have allowed in their box across the three matches.

    Todd Cantwell (50 mins)

    OH MY!

The Rovers hit Hull with a quickfire double and they're in full control now.

Ryan Alebiosu gets forward well down their right and swings a cross into the middle that Tigers keeper Ivor Pandur makes a right mess of.

Blackburn skipper Todd Cantwell isn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth and he calmly sweeps the loose ball in.

They're looking VERY good for their first points of the season now.

  15. CLOSE!published at 13:40 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-0 Leicester

Charlton start the half on the front foot and Tyreece Campbell wins a corner down the left.

Conor Coventry's ball in is met by the head of Lloyd Jones, with Hamza Choudhary just glancing it past the upright.

Coventry's next corner is met by Kayne Ramsay at the far post and Jakub Stolarczyk makes a fine block on his line at near point blank range. Great keeping.

  16. 'Very well-worked free-kick'published at 13:39 British Summer Time 23 August

    Hull 0-2 Blackburn

    Peter Swan
    BBC Radio Humberside

    It's a great set-piece by Blackburn, it's a very well-worked free-kick.

We gave the momentum to Blackburn and they've got a goal straight away in the second half.

  17. goal

GOAL: Hull City 0-2 Blackburnpublished at 13:37 British Summer Time 23 August

    Yuki Ohashi (47 mins)

It's not Ryan Hedges again but it IS 2-0 to Blackburn!

Todd Cantwell's quick free kick catches the home side out and Hedges fires it across goal where Japanese striker Yuki Ohashi gets the final touch.

Let's hope we see some more goals in the final 45 minutes...

    Leicester average positionsImage source, Opta

As I said earlier, Charlton are pressing the visitors high up the pitch when they're attempting to play out from their own half and that's evident by the Leicester players' average positions in that first half.

xG figures of 0.22 goals for Charlton and 0.09 for Leicester tells you everything about the quality of the finishing so far.

The Addicks have had three shots on target, including that spectacular hit from Conor Coventry that drew a big save from Foxes keeper Jakub Stolarczyk.

In the opening game of the season the Foxes trailled Sheffield Wednesday at half-time and Harry Winks came on to change the game, could we see him soon?

  20. Hornets fans enjoying themselves after impressive halfpublished at 13:31 British Summer Time 23 August

    HT: Swansea 0-1 Watford

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Watford fans are enjoying this - and no wonder given that they have not seen their team win an away game since February.

They are worth their lead having overpowered Swansea as the first half went on - and found a path to goal thanks to a fabulous first goal in English football from Nestory Irankunda.

Swansea have plenty to do if they are to find a route back into this one.
