  1. Postpublished at 12:59 British Summer Time 23 August

    Hull City 0-1 Blackburn

Blackburn goalscorer Ryan Hedges had failed to net since 17 August last year before today, a run of 44 blanks.

He took his goal with absolutely surgical precision and the midfielder's in the mood for more now.

This time he heads a decent opening from Ryan Alebiosu's cross over the bar though.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:59 British Summer Time 23 August

    Swansea 0-0 Watford

Almost an opener and Watford could well be in front but in form striker Luca Kjerrumgaard's headed effort from close range is superbly saved by Lawrence Vigouroux.

  3. Postpublished at 12:58 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-0 Leicester

Abdul Fatawu tries to make amends with a rasping 25-yard strike from the right which Lloyd Jones stoops to deflect behind off that big forehead of his.

The corner drops to Louis Page on the edge of the box but the 17-year-old snatches at his volley and blazes well over the crossbar.

  4. 'Charlton have a clear plan'published at 12:57 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-0 Leicester

    Chris Peddy
    BBC Sport at The Valley

Charlton have a very clear plan to press the Leicester players high up in their own half when they're on the ball and so far it's working.

Conor Coventry and Greg Docherty haven't given the Foxes any room to move in the midfield and when they do turn the ball over the Addicks get players forward quickly and look a threat.

The newly-promoted side haven't looked any closer to conceding their first goal back in the Championship so far.

Aside from Jordan Ayew's effort that went harmlessly wide, it's been an easy afternoon for Charlton keeper Thomas Kaminski so far.

  5. Postpublished at 12:56 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-0 Leicester

Clumsy from Abdul Fatawu who barges Tyreece Campbell over near the corner flag giving the Addicks a useful set-piece opportunity.

Conor Coventry's high cross is however routine for Leicester keeper Jakub Stolarczyk to claim just outside his six-yard box.

  6. Snoop Dogg's son watches a midfield scrappublished at 12:55 British Summer Time 23 August

    Swansea 0-0 Watford

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Snoop Dogg is yet to visit Wales since becoming a co-investor at Swansea City last month - but his son Cordell Broadus is representing the family this afternoon.

Snoop Jr is in the directors' box at the Swansea.com Stadium to see if Swansea can build on last weekend's win over Sheffield United with another home success.

Watford, a club who know more than most about having pop stars in the boardroom, also claimed their first league win of the season last weekend.

For the moment at least, the two sides are cancelling each other out in something of a midfield scrap.

After a dreadful opening 15 minutes suddenly this game has come into life.

Hull are getting pressed down by Blackburn now.

  8. Postpublished at 12:54 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-0 Leicester

Good battle between Jordan Ayew and Lloyd Jones already, with the Addicks defender this time being penalised after bundling into the forward in midfield.

Nathan Jones is making himself useful, trotting onto the pitch to help remove a foil balloon and streamers which had blown onto the playing surface.

  9. Postpublished at 12:51 British Summer Time 23 August

    Swansea 0-0 Watford

Still cagey stuff from both sides here.

Swansea midfielder Goncalo Franco has a go at goal from outside the box but his powerful effort is off target.

  10. CLOSE!published at 12:50 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-0 Leicester

Jordan Ayew manages to get in behind Lloyd Jones for a moment and drives towards the box, Jones manages to get back goal side and forces Ayew to eventually drag a low shot a yard or so wide of Thomas Kaminski's right hand post from just inside the area.

  11. goal

GOAL: Hull City 0-1 Blackburnpublished at 12:49 British Summer Time 23 August

    Ryan Hedges (18 mins)

And it's the away side who take the lead!

    Wouldn't you just know it.

The home side had just had a couple of decent openings but it's the visitors who go in front with a lovely dinked finish from Ryan Hedges after a cute through ball from Augustus Kargbo.

The home side create the first chances of the day.

First, Oli McBurnie gets his head onto a corner but Rovers keeper Balazs Toth does well to keep him out and then the Hungarian is called into action again to save from Joel Ndala's shot.

Can Valerien Ismael's Blackburn side hit back?

  13. Postpublished at 12:48 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-0 Leicester

Charlton take on LeicesterImage source, Rex Features

Leicester have had a lot of the ball in the opening stages but the vast majority of it has been in their own half or on halfway. Charlton are doing a good job of pressing them into errors at the moment.

  14. Postpublished at 12:44 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-0 Leicester

It's Conor Coventry this time who picks a Leicester pocket in their own half but Miles Leaburn sees a 20-yard blast cannon over the bar off Jannik Vestergaard, and the Foxes are able to deal with Josh Edwards' curling corner.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:43 British Summer Time 23 August

    Hull City 0-0 Blackburn

First notable action of the game sees home midfielder Regan Slater in the book for a foul on Todd Cantwell.

  16. Postpublished at 12:41 British Summer Time 23 August

    Hull City 0-0 Blackburn

There had been a goal apiece by this stage of Hull City's game at home to Oxford on Sunday.

Not so much excitement in the opening 10 minutes of this one.

    No shots so far.

  17. Postpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time 23 August

    Swansea 0-0 Watford

Quiet start in this one so far with Swansea enjoying most of the possession.

Malick Yalcouye has had the first effort on goal but the Swansea midfielder on loan from Brighton can't keep his effort from distance down.

  18. Postpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-0 Leicester

Kayne Ramsay is okay to continue but is off the field as the Foxes take the corner, which comes to nothing.

  19. Postpublished at 12:37 British Summer Time 23 August

    Charlton 0-0 Leicester

Bright start to this game, end-to-end stuff with Abdul Fatawu on the right and Jeremy Monga on the left showing quick feet for City and earning their side a corner.

Kayne Ramsay needs a spot of treatment for a facial injury before they take it.

  20. 'Very scruffy'published at 12:36 British Summer Time 23 August

    Hull 0-0 Blackburn

    Peter Swan
    BBC Radio Humberside

    It's very scruffy.

We can't get the ball down and we can't get any passes together at the moment.

We just need to calm down a bit.
