    RB Leipzig 0-0 Liverpool

First chance of the game goes to Amadou Haidara as the ball falls nicely to him on the edge of the box. The midfielder decides to let fly but Caoimhin Kelleher gets down well and holds on.

    Who needs Alisson, eh?

  2. 'It's Haaland's first touch!'published at 20:14 British Summer Time 23 October

It's his first touch, nearly scores! It sums the lad up.

Look at the leap. He's guided it...

What a save that is. That's a Gordon Banks style save.

  3. 'It looked like a foul'published at 20:13 British Summer Time 23 October

    RB Leipzig 0-0 Liverpool

Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Alexis Mac Allister of Liverpool is challenged by Willi Orban of RB LeipzigImage source, Getty Images

Mac Allister made the most of it, but from where we are which isn't close - it looked like a foul.

There is contact, but the referee thinks Mac Allister dives towards the player.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 23 October

    RB Leipzig 0-0 Liverpool

Wow, what's happened there then? Alexis Mac Allister goes into the book for apparently diving.

    The replay shows otherwise.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:11 British Summer Time 23 October

    Man City 1-0 Sparta Prague

Brilliant ball in from Bernardo Silva on the left-hand side and what a header that is from the big man Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian gets plenty of power on it but it's a magnificent save from Peter Vindahl down to his right-hand side.

That is Haaland's one and only touch of the game so far.

  6. Postpublished at 20:10 British Summer Time 23 October

    Man City 1-0 Sparta Prague

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

He's gone early, hasn't he, the referee?

John Stones hasn't really got to make the tackle. Just stay on your feet!

  7. 'Liverpool are being brave'published at 20:09 British Summer Time 23 October

    RB Leipzig 0-0 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Benjamin Sesko had to develop the power and he wasn't able to do it.

RB Leipzig have found spaces in the final line, Liverpool are being brave and they're not sitting far back.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:09 British Summer Time 23 October

    RB Leipzig 0-0 Liverpool

Early booking goes to RB Leipzig defender Castello Lukeba after a poor challenge on Dominik Szoboszlai.

He's got 80 minutes to go on that yellow.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:08 British Summer Time 23 October

    Man City 1-0 Sparta Prague

John Stones goes into the book for a foul on Lukas Haraslin. Bit of a silly one from the Manchester City defender, he's nowhere near the ball and the Sparta Prague winger wasn't really getting anywhere.

Xavi Simons is causing problems again and this time he picks out an unmarked Benjamin Sesko in the box but his header is straight at Caoimhin Kelleher.

I’ve been really impressed by Liverpool so far this season, interested how they fare against a Leipzig who are unbeaten in the Bundesliga so far. Think this could be a great match for the neutral.

  12. 'A very open game so far'published at 20:06 British Summer Time 23 October

    RB Leipzig 0-0 Liverpool

    Pat Nevin
Former Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a very open game so far. There seems to be an awful lot of space in the midfield for both teams.

  13. Barca lead against Bayernpublished at 20:06 British Summer Time 23 October

    Barcelona 1-0 Bayern Munich

Raphinha of FC Barcelona celebrates scoring his team's first goalImage source, Getty Images

Barcelona go ahead inside 60 seconds!

A mistake at the back by Bayern Munich is thoroughly punished by Barcelona captain for the night Raphinha as the ex-Leeds forward rounds the keeper and taps in.

Bayern's defensive line was all over the place.

  14. Postpublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 23 October

    RB Leipzig 0-0 Liverpool

Another mistake by Liverpool at the back and this time it's Trent Alexander-Arnold who uncharacteristically gives the ball away. The right-back does well to win it back and find Cody Gakpo high up the pitch, but his cross couldn't find Mohamed Salah at the back post.

  15. Postpublished at 20:05 British Summer Time 23 October

    Man City 1-0 Sparta Prague

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

    Fantastic start for Manchester City.

Foden, super first touch, gets himself in a little pocket there and it's a really good ball slid into him as well.

It's all about that first touch, knows exactly what he wants to do. He's looking to just guide it into the corner, doesn't really go for power.

It's an excellent goal, it really is.

  16. Postpublished at 20:03 British Summer Time 23 October

    RB Leipzig 0-0 Liverpool

Oooo Xavi Simons with his first sight at goal after a lapse in concentration from Kostas Tsimikas. The Dutchman could only lift the ball high over the goal. Should've done better really.

  17. goal

    Phil Foden (3 mins)

    Dream start!

It's textbook Phil Foden, this. He picks up the ball on the edge of the area, drifts in and shifts onto his left foot before striking into the bottom corner.

He makes that look so easy. City off and running.

  18. Postpublished at 20:03 British Summer Time 23 October

    Man City 0-0 Sparta Prague

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

City today have got to be patient, get off to a better start than normal, they've been conceding early in games and quite frankly, I think they'll want to control the game from start to finish if they can.

  19. Postpublished at 20:03 British Summer Time 23 October

    Man City 0-0 Sparta Prague

Manchester City fans immediately into the "Johnny, Johnny Stones" chant.

For the second time this season, Stones scored a last-minute winner in the Premier League to earn his side three points. He's much-loved in Manchester.

  20. Postpublished at 20:01 British Summer Time 23 October

    RB Leipzig 0-0 Liverpool

Great noise inside the Red Bull Arena tonight as Ibrahima Konate gives away a clumsy foul on his return to Leipzig.
