They've done it! Real Madrid have completed the turnaround and it's stand-in captain Lucas Vazquez who hammers them in front from a tight angle.

Seconds earlier Julian Brandt should have netted the winner at the other end, but Thibaut Courtois superbly kept him out.

    That's football.

Arsenal are making their own problems! The Emirates is so quiet and that's because of what they are seeing on pitch. So slow and ponderous. It's what started it all against Bournemouth and it's happening tonight. Up the tempo!

Arsenal's Leandro Trossard misses a penalty kick saved by Shakhtar Donetsk's Dmytro RiznykImage source, Reuters

Seeing it on the monitor it does hit Valerii Bondar's right arm.

It is a wicked ball in from Merino and Trossard was trying to attack the near post. You could say it's harsh, but it's the positioning of the arm.

Leandro Trossard tries to go down the middle and Dmytro Riznyk saves it with his right boot.

A real lack of conviction. Shakhtar Donetsk are still in this and they shouldn't be.

The referee has a good look at the monitor and awards the penalty!

Valerii Bondar's arm is deemed to be in an unnatural position and Benoit Bastien points to the spot. Replays show that it does in fact touch his arm.

Leandro Trossard stands over the ball.
