  1. CLOSE!published at 21:14 British Summer Time

    Hull City 1-0 Burnley

Burnley close to an equaliser but Charlie Hughes is there to head the ball off the line for the home side.

  2. 'Adebayo is finally off the mark'published at 21:13 British Summer Time

    Luton 1-1 Sunderland

    Simon Oxley
Luton commentator on BBC Three Counties Radio

    A great free-kick, textbook stuff.

Who was marking Carlton Morris at the far post?

Elijah Adebayo is finally off the mark.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:13 British Summer Time

    Hull City 1-0 Burnley

Scott Parker rings the changes for Burnley as Luca Koleosho and Hannibal Mejbri make way for Josh Laurent and Enock Agyei.

Game on! The drought is over!

Of course it's from a set-piece, Alfie Doughty whipping it in towards the far post where Carlton Morris has somehow evaded all his markers and volleys back into the middle for Elijah Adebayo to nod his first goal since May into the net from a couple of yards away.

'It's all gone quiet over there' sing the home fans. It has. Not heard that for years.

  5. CLOSE! & SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:11 British Summer Time

    Hull City 1-0 Burnley

Great cross by Mohamed Belloumi to the far post for Hull City but Gustavo Puerta can only head it wide.

Immediately after that Joao Pedro and Puerta are withdrawn by Tim Walter and replaced by Chris Bedia and Abdüş Ömür.

  6. Postpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Sheff Utd

Sheffield United left-back Sam McCallum came in for Harrison Burrows tonight with a view on stopping Boro wideman Ben Doak.

He's doing his best but the teenage Liverpool loanee has such mesmerising feet poor McCallum's head will surely still be spinning when it hits the pillow in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

A couple of Doak crosses from the right flash across goal without a vital touch.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:08 British Summer Time

    Luton 0-1 Sunderland

Sunderland left-back Dennis Cirkin warms the palms of Thomas Kaminski with a fierce angled strike from the left which the Hatters keeper dives to his left to tip away.

  8. As it stands...published at 21:08 British Summer Time

    Luton 0-1 Sunderland

Life's pretty sweet for Sunderland fans at the moment...

    Championship top 10
  9. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:07 British Summer Time

    Millwall 1-0 Plymouth

    That'll teach me!

Posed the question about a Plymouth change so Wayne Rooney makes three!

On come Rami Al Hajj, Frederick Issaka and Andre Gray with Ryan Hardie, Callum Wright and Mustapha Bundu making way.

  10. Postpublished at 21:07 British Summer Time

    Blackburn 0-0 West Brom

Blackburn have been on the attack after the break and Joe Rankin-Costello sends a ball over the top for Yuki Ohashi who cannot keep his effort on target.

  11. 'What a finish'published at 21:05 British Summer Time

    Luton 0-1 Sunderland

    Gary Bennett
Ex-Sunderland defender on BBC Radio Newcastle

Great play from Chris Rigg, what a finish. He had a lot of work to do, he got past one, got past two...

From someone just 17 years old, that's incredible.

That's Rigg's third goal in his last six Championship games.

  12. Postpublished at 21:05 British Summer Time

    Millwall 1-0 Plymouth

Remember, Plymouth are without their leading scorer Ibrahim CIssoko tonight due to the red card he collected at Cardiff on Saturday.

Wayne Rooney has Rami Al Hajj and Michael Obafemi on the bench - how long before he goes for some added firepower?

  13. goal

GOAL Luton 0-1 Sunderlandpublished at 21:03 British Summer Time

    Chris Rigg (55 mins)

    Football! The rope-a-dope is on.

Wilson Isidor wins an aerial ball under pressure, the ball breaks off Luton's Tahith Chong into the feet of Chris Rigg in the area.

The teenager shows immense poise to shift the ball left, keep his balance and then slide a low shot past Thomas Kaminski to send the away fans wild.

Luton look stunned. They wanted a foul against Isidor but nothing doing.

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:02 British Summer Time

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Sheff Utd

We are back up to five games in action...

  15. Postpublished at 21:02 British Summer Time

    Luton 0-0 Sunderland

Sunderland keeper Anthony Patterson is not happy with his team-mates, conceding possession so easily in their own half under pressure from the ferocious Luton press.

Their energy levels can't last forever, but Sunderland are playing into their hands with some sloppy touches at present.

A brief break in play allowing WIlson Isidor some treatment allows Patterson, and Regis Le Bris, to get their feelings across.

  16. 'Sunderland can't get out of their own half'published at 21:00 British Summer Time

    Luton 0-0 Sunderland

    Simon Oxley
Luton commentator on BBC Three Counties Radio

Luton have carried on from where they left off in the first half, Sunderland can't get out of their own half at the moment.

  17. Postpublished at 21:00 British Summer Time

    Hull City 1-0 Burnley

Well, Burnley have come out with a bit more intent about them and they earn a couple of corners in succession the second of which ends with Zian Flemming smacking a shot high, wide and not very handsome.

Xavier Simons' goal still separate the sides - the first Burnley have conceded in five games.

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:58 British Summer Time

    Luton 0-0 Sunderland

The wait goes on for Luton striker Elijah Adebayo...

Jordan Clark sees a shot from the right blocked but regains possession and stands a ball up into the middle where Adebayo rises highest and plants a header goalwards from six yards out, only for Anthony Patterson to tip the ball over the bar with his fingertips.

A yard either side and his drought - dating back to Everton in May - would have been over.

I bet you when he gets one he'll not look back, either... football for you!

  19. CLOSE!published at 20:57 British Summer Time

    Millwall 1-0 Plymouth

Plymouth defenders clear ballImage source, Rex Features

Really close in fact for Millwall.

Daniel Grimshaw in the Plymouth goal is beaten by Femi Azeez's effort but his defenders get back to clear off the line - how crucial could that be?

  20. Postpublished at 20:55 British Summer Time

    Blackburn 0-0 West Brom

Frustration for the home fans as Rovers win a corner but end up taking it short and then getting pressured, by Jayson Molumby, into playing it all the way back to keeper Aynsley Pears in his own box.

Missed opportunity with the big guns up from the back.
