    Luton 0-0 Sunderland

Tahith Chong's quick feet win Luton a free-kick in a dangerous position just outside the area on the left, perfect for Alfie Doughty to use that wand of a left-foot of his.

However Sunderland keeper Anthony Patterson is alert to the danger and comes off his line to claw away from danger.

Luton are such a threat from set pieces, he'll need to be on his game tonight...

  5. Postpublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 23 October

    Millwall 0-0 Plymouth

Pretty nondescript stuff to start this one.

George Honeyman has been cautioned for the home side but it's two teams desperate to find some form and just ease the pressure which is building.

  6. 'Luton want to put the ball in the box'published at 19:57 British Summer Time 23 October

    Luton 0-0 Sunderland

    Gary Bennett
Ex-Sunderland defender on BBC Radio Newcastle

Every opportunity Luton get, they are going to want to put the ball in the box so Sunderland need to deal with that, they can't be losing the ball in wide areas of the pitch.

  9. Postpublished at 19:55 British Summer Time 23 October

    Blackburn 0-0 West Brom

First real half-chance falls to Tom Fellows of West Brom who cuts in from the right flank, across the face of the area and unleashes a low left-footed shot which is meat and drink for Aynsley Pears in the Rovers goal.

Until that point the brightest point had been the Baggies hot pink away kit.

Great work from Mohamed Belloumi on the right hand side of the Burnley box.

    Luton 0-0 Sunderland

Concern for Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris as defender Luke O'Nien goes down holding his head after an aerial clash with Luton's Carlton Morris.

He gets some treatment but looks like he will be ok to continue.

  12. Postpublished at 19:51 British Summer Time 23 October

Burnley beat a pressing Hull City side via an excellent pass from goalkeeper James Trafford and within seconds they're on the edge of the home side's box but can't get a shot away.

  13. Postpublished at 19:51 British Summer Time 23 October

    Luton 0-0 Sunderland

Another sight of goal for Sunderland as Romaine Mundle blazes down the left touchline and along the byline before cutting back towards Wilson Isidor who is thwarted by a timely intervention from a defender at the near post to prevent him getting a shot on Thomas Kaminski's goal.

He wants a foul but looks like the defender got a toe on the ball first.

  14. CLOSE!published at 19:48 British Summer Time 23 October

    Luton 0-0 Sunderland

What a chance for Sunderland to break the deadlock inside two minutes.

  15. Postpublished at 19:48 British Summer Time 23 October

    Millwall 0-0 Plymouth

    Oh, early drama...well nearly anyway.

Referee Sam Allison points to the spot for a Plymouth penalty but then sees the assistant's flag is up for offside - free-kick to Millwall, carry on everyone.

  16. Postpublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 23 October

    Hull City 0-0 Burnley

A win or possibly even a draw could be enough to take Burnley back to the top of the Championship tonight.

Such is the tightness of the division and despite successive defeats without scoring a victory for Hull City could move them back up to tenth place.

It seems you're never out of the reckoning or safe in the Championship - just how we like it.
