  1. Postpublished at 20:29 British Summer Time

    QPR 0-1 Coventry

Coventry sit off Paul Smyth to give the midfielder as much time and space he wants on the right. His shot only just whistles wide.

Ilias Chair is given the similar treatment more centrally, but his shot is straight at Oliver Dovin. QPR are growing.

  2. Postpublished at 20:28 British Summer Time

    Leeds 2-0 Watford

Watford are targeting Illan Meslier from corners, swinging the ball under his bar in a crowd.

Mattie Pollock gets on the end of the latest one but but can't divert the ball on target from just four yards out.

    That could have gone anywhere.

  3. Postpublished at 20:27 British Summer Time

    Preston 2-0 Norwich

Norwich are just starting to crank up the pressure a little bit in the last five minutes and the game is mainly being played in the Preston half.

The Lilywhites have stood firm thus far. Can Norwich find a way back into this? They've had 72% of the possession but that's not the statistic that matters...

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time

    Leeds 2-0 Watford

Ao Tanaka - who has been simply brilliant for Leeds in the past couple of games - has picked up a booking for bringing down Yasser Larouci in full flight in midfield.

Watford are enjoying a spell of possession, their first of the game, really.

Giorgi Chakvetadze whips in a curling shot from 20 yards at the end of a move but Illan Meslier flings himself to his left to turn the ball around the post.

Good save. The crowd appreciated that one.

  5. Postpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time

    QPR 0-1 Coventry

QPR conceded from their first corner, they want a penalty from their second.

Koki Saito runs onto the loose ball and blasts a shot back into a crowded box.

Did it hit an arm? Did he get caught late? Neither are realistic claims and their protests are waved away.

  6. Postpublished at 20:25 British Summer Time

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Swansea

Jamal Lowe finds a yard of space in the penalty area to get a shot away but it flies high and wide.

He couldn't quite wrap his foot around it but it's another sniff of goal for Sheffield Wednesday, who are certainly having more of the territory in the last 10 minutes.

  7. Postpublished at 20:24 British Summer Time

    Preston 2-0 Norwich

Norwich win a free-kick in a dangerous position just outside the box on the right-hand side, about two yards in from the byline.

It's hammered in but Liam Lindsay gets up well to head away. Resolute defending by Preston.

  8. Postpublished at 20:24 British Summer Time

    Stoke 2-0 Bristol City

How are Bristol City still two goals down?

Viktor Johansson is again called upon in Stoke's goal, as he keeps Nahki Wells out from point-blank range.

The ball then falls for Zak Vyner, who can only clatter the post in front of him.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time

    Leeds 2-0 Watford

Leeds scored their first goal from a corner since February on Friday night.

They so nearly had another here.

Joe Rothwell's cross was glanced on towards the far post but Ao Tanaka was just unable to turn the ball in at the far post.

Pascal Struijk is then wiped out on halfway by Festy Ebosele who picks up a yellow card for his ill-judged sliding lunge.

  10. Postpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Swansea

Svante Ingelsson gets on the end of another cross, this time from Yan Valery, but his header is blocked and goes behind for a corner to Sheffield Wednesday.

In it comes and goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux claims again but he was under much more pressure on this occasion.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:21 British Summer Time

    Stoke 2-0 Bristol City

Viktor Johansson has made a number of saves already tonight, but this one is his best by a distance.

A corner from the right eventually falls to Max Bird on the edge of box. The midfielder lets rip on the half volley, but Johansson is equal to it with a diving save.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:20 British Summer Time

    Cardiff 2-0 Portsmouth

    Welcome back Jordan Archer.

A loose ball drops to David Turnbull 20 yards out and his low drive is deflected towards the bottom corner until Archer flies across to his left to tip the ball around the post with his fingertips.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time

    Preston 2-0 Norwich

Another yellow card and this time it's for Norwich's Kenny McClean for dissent after saying something the ref didn't approve of.

  14. 'A nightmare start for QPR'published at 20:19 British Summer Time

    QPR 0-1 Coventry

    Chris Peddy
    BBC Sport at Loftus Road

What a nightmare start for QPR and it came from their own corner.

The Sky Blues tore through them at lightning pace and to make it even worse for the Hoops, Kenneth Paal picked up an injury in the lead up to the goal and he's been replaced by Koki Saito.

The bouncing atmosphere we had in the opening minutes has changed dramatically.

Coventry have looked comfortable since the goal, with Hadji Wright looking dangerous.

But just as I type - Saito has the crowd on their feet, running down the left wing, taking the ball past Milan van Ewijk and squaring for Sam Field, who shoots over the bar.

Much better from the home side.

  15. Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Swansea

Sheffield Wednesday win a corner on the right-hand side... and it's swung straight into the arms of Swansea goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux.

That sums up the first 30-odd minutes of this game. Moments of promise but no end product for either side just yet.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:18 British Summer Time

    Leeds 2-0 Watford

What a goal this would have been.

Willy Gnonto allows a Jayden Bogle pass to run through his legs, darts behind the defender to latch onto a first-time through ball from Joel Piroe and after jinking one way then the other he unleashes a powerful near-post drive which Daniel Bachmann is able to turn around the post.

    Leeds are absolutely buzzing tonight.

  17. Postpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time

    QPR 0-1 Coventry

The good news for QPR is that the only game they have won this season - a 2-1 victory over Luton - they went behind.

Koki Saito gives even more reason for Hoops fans to get out of their seats as he scampers past Milan van Ewijk and gets to the byline.

He pulls back to Sam Field, who can't keep his shot down.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:17 British Summer Time

    Preston 2-0 Norwich

Preston skipper Ben Whiteman picks up a yellow as Borja Sainz cuts infield from the left and is brought down.

The Canaries have a chance to swing the free-kick in from about 40 yards out... it's cleared to Kenny McClean on the edge of the box who hits a left-footed shot into the ground but it's well wide.

A half-chance there, though, for McClean.

  19. Postpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time

    Stoke 2-0 Bristol City

Bristol City's Max Bird does well to find a pocked of space.

He is quick to look up and fancies a crack from distance. The effort from the midfielder, however, is always rising and causes no real danger.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time

    Cardiff 2-0 Portsmouth

Nervous look on the face of John Mousinho as Austrian keeper Nicolas Schmid, making just his third appearance, is down getting treatment.

He's already without Will Norris, though Jordan Archer is on the bench.

It looks like it might be the after effects of a knee to the head when Robinson rammed home that second goal.

Schmid is coming off... Archer, eventually, is coming on after a delay getting ready. His first league game since May 2021 at Wycombe.
