How good is that from West Ham's Lucas Paqueta? The midfielder tracks back down the left to stop a Nottingham Forest counter attack and Callum Hudson-Odoi in his tracks.

    Brighton 0-1 Man City

No changes by either side at the start of the second half.

In keeping with the first half, a fairly tame start to the new half before Manchester City win a free-kick inside their own half.

It's taken quickly and the move ends with a deflected attempt by Omar Marmoush which is saved.

Will Brighton claw their way back into this?

If they don't, it'll be one point from three games.

    Back under way.

This is more like it. West Ham's Jarrod Bowen gets in down the right and cuts the ball the back to Lucas Paqueta, but the Brazilian is under pressure and can't hit the target.

To compare Isak to Haaland is ridiculous. The latter has broken multiple records and has won the PL and CL.

    London

For all those who say Haaland is overrated: a striker's job is to score - if 88 in 100 is overrated, who and what isn't?

  19. 'Brighton don't look like scoring'published at 14:57 British Summer Time 31 August

    HT: Brighton 0-1 Man City

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Chelsea goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live at The Amex

Brighton don't look like scoring, part of that is in this game they are trying to play out from the back and not really having too much chance to be able to.

They have got out a couple of times but once they beat that initial press they have to be so precise. Going forward they don't seem to have the options or the runners and they turn around and that gives City the chance to get back and defend.

  20. Postpublished at 14:56 British Summer Time 31 August

HT: Nottm Forest 0-0 West Ham

    Just to underline the point...

Nottingham Forest v West Ham has witnessed the fewest shots (four) and lowest xG (0.28) in the first half of a Premier League match so far this season.
