  1. Postpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Ipswich Town 0-1 Crystal Palace

Into injury time. Desperate looks on the Ipswich fans' faces. Can they grab a point? They probably don't deserve it, but the home supporters would absolutely take one.

  2. Postpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Leicester 1-0 West Ham

Leicester won't be baited into pressing West Ham as the visitors patiently pass the ball around the back.

The Hammers actually give it away, but Kasey McAteer can't find Jamie Vardy in the middle.

  3. 'Ings will be disappointed'published at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Leicester 1-0 West Ham

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Danny Ings was struggling. West Ham tried to make the substitution in the first half, but he signalled he was good to continue.

Ings would be disappointed and frustrated because this was the kind of game where he would have liked to make a mark.

  4. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Leicester 1-0 West Ham

    Off we go again.

  5. Postpublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    HT: Leicester 1-0 West Ham

West Ham are making a half-time change. Crysencio Summerville is going to replace Danny Ings.

The Hammers are out early ahead of the second half.

It was a really good free kick from Ipswich. It was Jacob Greaves that heads it back across the face of the goal and there are two players making a run for it in the middle.

Dean Henderson has no chance of saving it and it comes off the post and bounces off Nathan Broadhead and goes out for a goal kick. Almost. Very, very close for Ipswich.

  7. Stat attack!published at 21:17 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    HT: Leicester 1-0 West Ham

West Ham had 20 shots in total in the first half, their highest number of attempts in the first half of a Premier League game without scoring since at least 2003-04

Leicester had three total shots, all three on goal, and converted one.

The last time a team had at least 20 shots in the first half of a Premier League match without scoring was Crystal Palace against Leicester on 1 April 2023 (20). Palace won the match 2-1 after a goalless half-time score (Palace ended with 31 shots, Leicester had three).

A free-kick from the training ground as it is played short to the edge of the box and then played deep to the back post. Jacob Greaves gets there and tries to head it across goal, aiming for Ali Al-Hamadi. He can't get a touch for what would've been a certain goal, and the ball bounces off the post.

Palace probably deserve the three points, but Ipswich nearly found themselves level.

  9. 'Time running out for Ipswich'published at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Ipswich Town 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Premier League goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Time is running out for Ipswich. They have just not done enough going forward. When they do pick up possession they are a little bit slow and Palace know to put the press on immediately when the ball is worked out wide.

  10. 'Would Leicester have looked at him without United role?'published at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    HT: Leicester 1-0 West Ham

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Manchester United was a shop window for Ruud van Nistelrooy. Would Leicester City have looked at him had he not taken that job? You question whether they would or not. They had the opportunity to take him in the summer. I'm slightly skeptical on whether they would have seen him as a long term option for their club had he not taken the role at Old Trafford.

  11. Postpublished at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Ipswich Town 0-1 Crystal Palace

Omari Hutchinson on the right wing for Ipswich produces a step over to get some space and fizzes the ball across the face of goal, but there's no blue shirt on the end of it.

Time running out for the hosts, Palace heading towards their second league win of the season.

  12. Postpublished at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    HT: Leicester 1-0 West Ham

Just on the James Justin concussion check, the Leicester defender got up, chatted to the Foxes' physios and walked off the pitch unaided.

I'm expecting to see him take part in the second half.

  13. 'Al-Hamadi has brought more energy'published at 21:12 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Ipswich Town 0-1 Crystal Palace

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Premier League goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Liam Delap was definitely fading a bit because he got through so much work up there. Ali Al-Hamadi has come on and brought a bit more energy and lifted the whole crowd.

  14. 'West Ham have been very good'published at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

If Ruud van Nistelrooy didn't know about the stress of being a Premier League manager, he certainly does now. Leicester gave him the best start they could with an early Jamie Vardy goal.

But West Ham have grown into the game and Julen Lopetegu will be happy how his team have responded after going behind. But one worrying thing for West Ham is the fitness of Danny Ings.

Other than that and the fact that they are behind, Lopetegui will not have anything bad to say about this West Ham performance. They've been very good.

Unfortunately, Ipswich can't hope to stay up if they keep losing at home to the teams around them.

At the moment Palace have time on their side, they have the lead and can play this out. They have the experience on their side as well.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Ipswich Town 0-1 Crystal Palace

It has not been Liam Delap's night and on comes Ali Al-Hamadi to replace him up front. Ipswich in desperate need of a spark.

Classic Bubbles really. Killing Leicester on every stat except the one that matters. An equaliser is more than deserved.

This game could still go either way. There is a lot still in the balance.

Palace look more threatening going forward and have missed a few chances, Jean-Philippe Mateta with a very big chance where Aro Muric makes a good block.

But when it is only 1-0 there is always a chance. We saw moments ago that if Ipswich get it together they have the quality to hurt teams.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:05 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December

    Ipswich Town 0-1 Crystal Palace

Eberechi Eze, working his way back to fitness after a hamstring injury, makes way for Palace and on comes Justin Devenny.
