The first half ends with a West Ham chance as Leicester keeper Mads Hermansen spills the ball after colliding with team-mate James Justin.

Two West Ham forwards then have a rushed shot at goal but a combination of keeper and defenders block the shot.

Justin has stayed down after the whistle and is getting a concussion check.

West Ham's 17 shots (so far) is their most on record in the first half of a Premier League match (since 2005-06).

That was an absolutely brilliant cross from Leif Davis down the left hand side and you think it's going in from Liam Delap. He tries to really delicately angle the header towards the goal but in doing so only gets the faintest of touches on it.

Vladimir Coufal is carded after a sliding challenge on Jamie Vardy on the halfway line.

West Ham have lacked a bit of quality in the final third. They have created chances and dominated possession. But that final pass and the final shot haven't had the quality the rest of their build-up play has had tonight.

Four added minutes at the end of the first half. Most of that was for the VAR check to confirm Jamie Vardy's goal.

This performance will be so frustrating for Kieran McKenna and the Ipswich fans.

They were excellent at home in the 2-2 draw against Aston Villa earlier in the season, away at Tottenham with a 2-1 win and the 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

So the players can do it, but, just like they were in a 2-0 home loss against another side near the bottom in Everton, they've been really poor in a home match they would have targeted three points from.

Jamie Vardy is having a field day in this game. He doesn't always get the ball, but when he does, the Leicester striker is easily getting behind West Ham centre-back Konstantinos Mavropanos, like he did for the opening goal.

West Ham's search for an equaliser continues. Thomas Soucek rises above James Justin to meet a looping cross but nods over.

Justin gets up a littler gingerly.

Big save, massive save from Aro Muric. He comes out of his goal but stops and just waits for Jean-Philippe Mateta to take the shot. Muric does really well. Big block.

Jean-Philippe Mateta has one goal and should have wrapped up the three points. He only has Arijanet Muric to beat and shoots across goal, but the Ipswich stopper sticks out his left leg and makes a decent save.

Here come the hosts, unsurprisingly led by Jamie Vardy who charges down the left wing.

He beats his marker for pace and reaches the byeline, but his cross can't find a team-mate in the middle.

Kieran McKenna has to do something and makes a triple change, bringing on Conor Chaplin, Jack Taylor, and Nathan Broadhead, in place of Wes Burns, Jens Cajuste and Jack Clarke.

West Ham lack the cutting edge Brentford used to punish Leicester at the weekend.

The Foxes having relied on Mads Hermansen to keep them ahead and, believe it or not, the hosts are defending better than at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday but they are living dangerously.

West Ham's Danny Ings has a bit of a problem and is limping ever so slightly.

The away bench start to prepare a change but Ings gets a message across that he's happy to continue, for now.

Mads Hermansen has just kept his team in the game. It's a great cross in and Jarred Bowen just lets it runs across his body. It was low to the goalkeeper's left and Hermansen gets a really strong hand on it and puts it behind for a corner.

Another really good battle in this game is Tyrick Mitchell down the left for Crystal Palace up against Wes Burns for Ipswich. At the moment Mitchell is winning the battle, he has done really well.
