Chelsea won a bizarre penalty as Joao Felix's cross hit the arm of Yann Songo'o while he was appealing that the ball went out of play.

Sadly, for him, it didn't and a stone wall penalty was given by referee Andrew Kitchen.

But, remarkably, his goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne saved the penalty - and Songo'o some embarrassment in the process.

Sunderland are unbeaten at the Stadium of Light this season and are slowly beginning to show signs of life after their sluggish start.

Morecambe have created moments through the impressive attacker Marcus Dackers, including an effort by Ben Tolitt on Filip Jorgensen's goal.

They are competing well against a team 87 places above them in the pyramid, not giving too much away while carrying threat against a very strong Chelsea XI.

Impressive, considering they have won just one of their last six League Two matches, and amid a protest against the ownership.

You wouldn't think this was a club with problems from watching the first 13 minutes.
