    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Luton

Forest manager Nuno paces his technical area, wearing a beanie hat to protect him from the freezing temperatures.

Nuno led Wolves to the FA Cup semis in 2019, and despite Forest's European ambitions this season he surely would not say no to another cup run.

    Norwich 0-0 Brighton

Superb cross from Norwich centre-back Callum Doyle on the left and a slightly panicky clearance from Jan Paul van Hecke sends the ball behind for a corner.

It's initial delivery is not properly cleared by Brighton but Lewis Dobbin's shot is comfortably saved by Jason Steele.

Johannes Hoff Thorup's Championship are on top at the moment, though.

    Chelsea 0-0 Morecambe

The haves v the have nots: Joao Felix, who has gone for over £150m in transfer fees in his time and can only get a game in the cups for Chelsea, whistles a shot over.

Morecambe's record transfer is about £150,000. Just a digit or two out.

FA cup third-round, no matter where you follow it, it's probably the best football weekend of the year.

    Reading 0-0 Burnley

Despite making 10 changes, Burnley have started well in Berkshire.

Lyle Foster fired an early chance over the bar after a slick move and now Luca Koleosho goes close, putting a right-footed shot past the left-hand post.

Koleosho is then in again and forces David Button into a decent stop.

    Brentford 0-0 Plymouth

What does a Brentford attack without any of Ivan Toney, Bryan Mbeumo or Yoane Wissa look like then? It has been a while since they started a game without any of those guys and today we find out. It's Plymouth who make a bright start in the London sun.

  10. PENALTY TO LEICESTERpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Leicester 3-2 QPR

Stephy Mavididi's cross hits Harrison Ashby's arm and that's a pen.

  11. Postpublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Exeter 0-0 Oxford

Exeter are looking to reach the FA Cup fourth round for the first time since 1980-81.

They have gone out at this stage of the competition 10 times since then but the League One side are holding their own against Championship Oxford early on.

This is as close to a full strength team that Leicester could put out and we're giving them a game. Given we're a mid-table Championship team, I don't know if this says more about how bad Leicester are rather than how good we are. Either way, R's to win a seven or nine goal thriller!

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Luton

All Forest in the early stages. Taiwo Awoniyi appears to have played Jota Silva clean through, only for Marc McGuinness to make a fine sliding block.

  14. Postpublished at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Bournemouth 0-0 West Brom

West Brom break down the right with Tom Fellows whipping in a cross but Uros Racic failing to make proper contact with his volley.

  15. Postpublished at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Chelsea 0-0 Morecambe

Pedro Neto hares away down the wing and beats two players but can't make his final pass stick. As a fan of a lower league club I can tell you we don't get many players like Neto down there.

Morecambe have the first effort on target though, Ben Tollitt gets a shot away and Filip Jorgensen juggles it but makes the save.

What a start from the Potters!

Tom Cannon converts from 12 yards for his 11th goal of the season and Mark Robins' side have made the perfect start.

Dan Neil's poor backpass was Sunderland's undoing there, forcing O'Nien into the challenge on Koumas.

    Sunderland 0-0 Stoke

    Penalty to Stoke!

Luke O'Nien trips Lewis Koumas and the ref points to the spot.

  18. 'Massive weaknesses in Plymouth side'published at 15:04 Greenwich Mean Time 11 January

    Brentford 0-0 Plymouth Argyle

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a real challenge for Plymouth today. They have shown such weakness at times. They got their first clean-sheet away from home last week but there is such a vulnerable nature with how they play. If a team plays directly through them, they have got massive weaknesses and in that is where Brentford's strengths are.
