    Norwich 0-0 Brighton

Delia Smith is in attendance at Carrow Road and the club's former majority shareholder will be enjoying what she's seeing from Norwich.

The hosts survived that little flurry from Brighton and it remains all square as we reached the half hour mark.

    Sunderland 0-1 Stoke

Sunderland have looked a little flat and their first corner - after Chris Rigg's cross causes a few problems - gives their supporters a badly-needed reason to cheer on a bitterly cold afternoon.

But in keeping with the match so far, the set-piece is disappointing and cleared at the near post.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time

    Chelsea 0-0 Morecambe

That's a wonderful save! Harry Burgoyne goes down at full stretch to turn away a Joao Felix shot and then he makes another good save from the follow-up corner.

My lot don’t play until tomorrow, but I’m really enjoying today's cup action. It’s easily the best domestic cup competition in the world!

    Brentford 0-0 Plymouth Argyle

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Mikkel Damsgaard is a cut above everyone else on the pitch at the minute. The way he functions, the space he creates for himself and then the quality on the ball. He is having a yard more space than everyone else.

James Justin doesn't score many - but when he does he likes to get a second.

    An absolutely stunning save.

Unfortunately, the goalkeeper Harry Burgoyne does come off his line. If VAR had been there, there would have been a retake of that penalty.

But, there isn't VAR and it's a brilliant save for Morecambe.

  19. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Luton Town

    This game is coming alive!

Ryan Yates, not a regular scorer, comes very close from 25 yards as his powerful effort leaves Thomas Kaminski standing - but cannons off the crossbar.

  20. Postpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time

    Norwich 0-0 Brighton

Another chance for Brighton and it's almost a mirror image of the one a couple of moments ago.

This time it's Kaoru Mitoma getting into the box and cutting back from the byline.

Again Georginio Rutter is there to take the shot but again it's blocked by a yellow shirt.
