Man City and Liverpool both behind. I wonder when that last happened?

Brighton are such a dangerous, brave team and now they have something to hold onto, not that they will sit back. They will continue getting forward.

  8. Postpublished at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time

    Liverpool 0-1 Brighton

Ouch, Kostas Tsimikas is down and getting treatment after he was taken out by his own team-mate Virgil van Dijk, when competing for a high ball.

It looked to be his shoulder to bear the brunt, but he is fine to carry on.

  9. 'Brighton have been dangerous'published at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time

    Stephen Warnock

  10. Postpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ipswich Town 0-0 Leicester

Facundo Buonanotte somehow wriggles free away from some home defenders and shoots left footed. Unconvincing goalkeeping from Arijanet Muric, who sticks out an arm to keep out the effort and then gets lucky with the ball not falling to a Leicester man.

You can't say that Brighton don't deserve it, they absolutely do! They have been at it from the off.The cross from Kaoru Mitoma comes all the way across to Ferdi Kadioglu and he pings it right footed in off the far post. A wonderful finish, thrashes it past Caiomhin Keller.

Well now. I guess this is as good a time as any to tell you all this is my second trip to Anfield this season - and the other was the Nottingham Forest defeat.

Great strike from Ferdi Kadioglu and the away fans, filling up a good quarter of one stand, erupt.

    Bournemouth 1-0 Man City

    Shay Given
Former Newcastle goalkeeper on Final Score

    Incredible start.

Bournemouth have had the much better start to the game and Manchester City have jus not started at all. We are talking about Semenyo getting into the box and it was a brilliant finish from him.

Arsenal, a club who have been recently narrowly missing titles, could potentially be below Nottingham Forest, a club who have been recently narrowly missing relegation if Forest beat West Ham today. If you’d have told me that 10 weeks ago I’d laughed in your face. No complaints mind.

  19. Postpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time

    Ipswich Town 0-0 Leicester

Better from Ipswich as they get their first look at goal. Omari Hutchinson stands up a cross from the right wing and Sam Szmodics is there, but under pressure from Wout Faes, can only head over the top.

Conor Chaplin then runs along the 18-yard line, but can only pull his left-footed strike wide of the post.

    Liverpool 0-0 Brighton

The home fans clearly enjoyed Darwin Nunez chanelling his inner Lionel Messi there with a great run and shot. The only thing to get excited about so far in this game to be fair.
