Hamer should be off, blatant yellow but because he's already been booked he stays on. The threshold for giving second yellows is ridiculous.

    Tom (Angry Baggies Fan)

Blades midfielder Gus Hamer got away with a trip on Callum Styles a few minutes ago when on a booking, and Baggies coach Chris Brunt was adamant he should have been off.

Another promising opportunity for Norwich City.

But substitute striker Ashley Barnes can only do what Borja Sainz did a few minutes ago and hits the side netting with a header from a corner.

Barnes is one of five players who have come on for the hosts in this second half, with Jose Cordoba, Jack Stacey, Emiliano Marcondes and Onel Hernandez also on.

  17. Postpublished at 14:13 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Norwich 0-1 QPR

Queens Park Rangers are defending resolutely to hold onto this lead that was somewhat fortuitously given to them by Ante Crnac's own goal at the end of the first half.

Norwich City have had 12 shots, compared to four for QPR, while the visitors also haven't had a single shot on target.

We said before kick-off that there were 14 places in the table between these sides at the end of November.

As things stand, there are just three.

Wednesday keeper James Beadle manages to parry away Sam Greenwood's sharp shooting but right into the direction of Emil Riis.

Yet again the frontman punishes the visitors at point blank range as he nudges the ball into the net on the stretch for a double.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:11 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024
