    Corpuz/Vu v Hall/Hull 1UP (17)

Allisen Corpuz walks in a long birdie putt to heap a little bit of pressure on Charley Hull, who misses her birdie chance to keep the match alive for the Americans.

Hull gives a thumbs up and a nod of appreciation to Corpuz.

On to the 18th hole we go.

    Corpuz/Vu v Hall/Hull 2UP (16)

Lilia Vu almost pulls off an audacious chip from off the green but misses a birdie before Georgia Hall dribbles a long putt just wide of the hole.

    Over to Allisen Corpuz.

    Corpuz/Vu v Hall/Hull 2UP (16)

The final fourball pairings are their approach shots at the 17th with fans still packed in three or four deep.

Charley Hull chuckles to herself after she gets a fortunate bounce out from the slope of the bunker and on to a decent position on the green.

Allisen Corpuz and Georgia Hall are both on the green, but are facing big putts to birdie.

    Ewing/Thompson v Ciganda/Pedersen - Europe win 2&1

"Freed from Desire" rings out around the 17th green, sung out by the rest of the European team who have gathered there. That point is a much-needed shot in the arm from that group.

Carlota Ciganda kept them going round the turn and Emily Pedersen finished it in style.

You feel both of them have to be top of Suzann Pettersen's list for singles tomorrow.

  7. Hull & Hall hold onpublished at 22:50 British Summer Time 14 September

    Corpuz/Vu v Hall/Hull 2UP (16)

Groans from the crowd at the 16th after Allisen Corpuz misses her birdie chance, as the ball flirts with the lip of the hole.

Charley Hull banks an easy par to maintain Europe's two-hole lead. A safety first approach seems to be the right one for Georgia Hall and Hull with the wider picture in mind.

  8. Point to Europepublished at 22:49 British Summer Time 14 September

    Ewing/Thompson v Ciganda/Pedersen - Europe win 2&1

The US have two putts to deny Emily Pedersen and Carlota Ciganda a crucial European point on the 17th green.

Ally Ewing is first and she's holed a few of these from distance. Not recently though and it trundles off to the right.

Can Lexi Thompson prolong the game with a lengthy putt of her own? Nope.

A confirmed dash of blue on the board in the fourballs.

    Corpuz/Vu v Hall/Hull 2UP (15)

Georgia Hall tactically rolls in close to the hole at the 16th to ensure par is a gimmie for the Europeans and allowing Charley Hull a chance to go all out for birdie.

However, Hull can only fizz it past the hole.

Over to Allisen Corpuz and Lilia Vu to see if they can notch a birdie up and heap pressure on their opponents in the home stretch.

  10. A stunner from Pedersen at 17published at 22:43 British Summer Time 14 September

    Ewing/Thompson v Ciganda/Pedersen 1UP (16)

"Trust yourself," says Emily Pedersen's caddie as he encourages her to go right at the 17th flag from 136 yards.

And boy was he right. That is majestic from Pedersen as she lasers it in to two feet. What a time to find a shot like that.

When they get up there, it'll either be conceded or she can tap it in.

    Corpuz/Vu v Hall/Hull 2UP (15)

Charley Hull grimaces after an eight iron off the tee at the 152-yard par three 16th leaves her deep on the green. It's a similar story for Georgia Hall.

Allisen Corpuz opts for the six iron and is closest to the pin. She has the best chance of a birdie of the quartet.

    Corpuz/Vu v Hall/Hull 2UP (15)

Neither Allisen Corpuz nor Lilia Vu are able to winkle a birdie on the 15th after Charley Hull safely negotiates a par. Three holes to go and the two Englishwomen will be looking to hang on to what they have got.

  14. USA's Thompson drags hole backpublished at 22:31 British Summer Time 14 September

    Ewing/Thompson v Ciganda/Pedersen 1UP (16)

Argh, she's not quite hit it. Emily Pedersen had the line but not the power so she'll have to watch Lexi Thompson try to win this hole.

The Solheim Cup veteran has enlisted Ally Ewing to help her. It's about five feet but looks fairly straight.

Down the pipe. The deficit is cut to one going down the 17th.

  15. Postpublished at 22:24 British Summer Time 14 September

    Corpuz/Vu v Hall/Hull 2UP (14)

Charley Hull has overhit a few of her approach shots today so plays the percentages, to some extent, and comes up a little short of the pin on the green at the 15th.

    Ewing/Thompson v Ciganda/Pedersen 2UP (15)

Time to throw some darts at a putting surface.

Emily Pedersen is rolling as she teases her tee shot on 16 onto the green and about 12 feet from the cup.

It's bested by Lexi Thompson thouhg and the US fans are on their feet as she comes inside Pedersen and leaves four feet for birdie.

    Corpuz/Vu v Hall/Hull 2UP (14)

Charley Hull, sporting aviator shades, has hit the fairway with her tee shot at the 15th although Georgia Hall finds herself in the sand.

Lilia Vu goes first with her approach shot to the green, and lands it beyond the pin, just on the tuft of thicker grass which borders it.

That putt from Emily Pedersen has just made it a bit more comfortable for the Europeans in the third match.

Fifteen minutes ago, Suzann Pettersen had her arm around Emily Pedersen on the 14th green, geeing her up.

    And what a result.

    Emily Pedersen!

The Swede is last to go with her birdie putt at the 15th and saw everyone else come up short.

No bother for her as she gives it some juice and partner Carlota Ciganda's fist is in the air well before it drops.

Two up with three to play.
