Jersey Bulls boss Gary Freeman says his side is capable of extending their five-game unbeaten run.

The islanders were 2-0 winners over fellow high-fliers Abbey Rangers on Saturday to go second in Combined Counties Premier Division South.

Bulls are a point behind leaders Farnham Town, who have won all 13 of their matches, having lost just once since the end of August.

"We are one of the teams capable of going on long runs," Freeman said.

"We've now got to get that belief, I think it's been really important this last month we've started to hit some form at home and had clean sheets here and got the wins.

He told BBC Radio Jersey: "The crowd seems to be building, there's a bit of excitement and we've got to make sure we finish the year off strong at Cobham next week, which is always a tricky place to go.

"But if we can get three points off that, that's half the season done and we're in a good spot.

"We can go into the New Year, our first game back here on the sixth with the FA Vase after, it can hopefully kick off the new year and kick us on."
