  1. 'Scunthorpe are looking bright and threatening'published at 16:07 GMT 1 November

    Blackpool 1-0 Scunthorpe

    Steve Torpey
Former Scunthorpe striker on BBC Radio Humberside

Scunthorpe are looking bright and threatening.

I think we've got a real chance in this half, we're playing some good stuff.

    Blackpool are on the back-foot.

  2. 'Only one team in it'published at 16:07 GMT 1 November

    Barnsley 1-1 York

    Iain Dunn
Former York City winger on BBC Radio York

You would expect Barnsley to show some quality, but for me there has only been one team in this and that has been York City.

It is not me trying to say it is some underdog tale, York City have played how they play which has been unsettling and unnerving for the Barnsley defence.

You could argue that City could be two or three up - they have just been caught out by one good Barnsley move.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:06 GMT 1 November

    AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Gateshead

Johnnie Jackson has seen enough, he's hooked Omar Bugiel and Riley Harbottle at the break and brought Isaac Ogundere and Danilo Orsi on for the second half as they seek to prevent a cupset.

Six goals between Macclesfield and AFC Totton with Daniel Elliott scoring a hat-trick for the hosts and Scott Rendell with two for the visitors

National League high fliers Boreham Wood have two goals against League Two strugglers Crawley and go into the break with a lead and a man to the good after Ryan Loft's red card.

Slough Town are on target to represent National League South as things stand given a 1-0 lead over National League Altrincham.

There are half-time 1-0 leads for Aldershot, Burton, Crewe, Fleetwood, Cheltenham, Mansfield, Rotherham, Sutton, Wealdstone, Lincoln and Wigan.

Newport and Gillingham are locked at 1-1 and Colchester and MK Dons also on the scoresheet at a goal apiece.

Cambridge lead Chester 2-0, both strikes from Kylian Koussi putting the League Two side in control. Oldham have a 2-0 lead against Swindon both goals from Michael Mellon.

It is goalless between Buxton and Chatham, Stevenage and Chesterfield, Tranmere and League One leaders Stockport County and Wycombe and Plymouth.

  7. 'Poor performance by Grimsby'published at 16:01 GMT 1 November

    HT: Grimsby 0-1 Ebbsfleet

    Gary Croft
Former Grimsby defender on BBC Radio Humberside

Ebbsfleet have been the better team, and deserved to go 1-0 up. Town have had a go since the Ebbsfleet man was sent off, which is what you would expect.

The rest of the game has been really disappointing, and if it wasn't for the chance at the end I would imagine they would of been walking off to a few boos from the Grimsby fans.

It has been a poor performance, too slow and laboured with no change of pace really.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:54 GMT 1 November

    Grimsby 0-1 Ebbsfleet

    Cupset on?

National League South's Ebbsfleet United lead League Two Grimsby Town thanks to Charlie Seaman's finish after 34 minutes.

The Fleet have a task to hold on now, though, after Ben Chapman was shown a straight red card for a bad challenge on Jamie Walker just before the break.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:53 GMT 1 November

    Reading 1-0 Carlisle United

A deserved lead in Leam Richardson's first game in charge of the Royals.

Lewis Wing, often the man for Reading, curled in a lovely goal midway through the first half after the home side dominated the ball and the share of the chances.

Carlisle defender Morgan Feeney has on more than one occasion got in the way with some terrific last-ditch defending, putting his body on the line.

They will need to show more of an attacking impetus if they are to make the next round.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:53 GMT 1 November

FC Halifax Town 0-2 Exeter City

That is the last action of the first half and the Grecians have struck at each of it.

Danny Andrew got them going, volleying home unmarked from the first corner of the match and their lead was doubled four minutes into six signalled for additional time when Jayden Wareham tapped home from close range.

A long way back for the hosts you would have thought but they have shown that they are a threat going forward in the first period.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 GMT 1 November

    Bolton 1-0 Huddersfield

Ibrahim Cissoko's goal gives Bolton a deserved lead at half-time.

Work to do in the second half for Huddersfield in this all League One tie.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 GMT 1 November

    Blackpool 1-0 Scunthorpe

Ashley Fletcher's close-range finish after 17 minutes has Blackpool ahead at the break at Bloomfield Road.

  13. 'Tough decision for the referee'published at 15:50 GMT 1 November

    Grimsby 0-1 Ebbsfleet

    Gary Croft
Former Grimsby defender on BBC Radio Humberside

In that position the referee has got a tough decision to make, I'm not sure it is a straight red.

I think that is a bit harsh to be a straight red, not a second yellow. But it is a booking and because he has already been booked he is off.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 GMT 1 November

    Spennymoor 0-1 Barrow

Elliot Newy's dinked finish shortly before the break has League Two Barrow a goal to the good at Spennymoor Town of National League North.

GOAL: FC Halifax Town 0-2 Exeter Citypublished at 15:49 GMT 1 November

    Jayden Wareham (45+4 mins)

Jayden Wareham scores for ExeterImage source, Shutterstock

Right on the stroke of half-time and that could be curtains for Halifax.

Striker Jayden Wareham is the right man in the right place to tap home after a tame strike from Ethan Brierley had been pushed out into the danger zone right into his path.

Wareham celebrated with a magnificent somersault to match.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 GMT 1 November

    Barnsley 1-1 York

Josh Stones' header had National League York City ahead at League One Barnsley, but Davis Keillor-Dunn's eighth of the season has levelled things up at Oakwell.

  17. 'It's looking promising for Scunthorpepublished at 15:48 GMT 1 November

    Blackpool 1-0 Scunthorpe

    Steve Torpey
Former Scunthorpe striker on BBC Radio Humberside

A real improvement from the first 20 minutes.

Blackpool really overloaded the right side but it's looking promising for Scunthorpe.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 1 November

    Peterborough 1-0 Cardiff

Half-time at London Road and that Harry Leonard strike separates the two sides going into the interval.

  19. RED CARD Ben Chapman (Ebbsfleet)published at 15:48 GMT 1 November

    Grimsby 0-1 Ebbsleet

The visitors are down to 10-men just before the break and it's a clear red for Ben Chapman.

It's a high kick on Jamie Walker.

Just before that Ebbsfleet wasted a penalty when Charlie Seaman looked to be brought down in the box but the referee waved away the appeals.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 GMT 1 November

    AFC Wimbledon 0-1 Gateshead

Kain Adom's seventh goal in as many games has National League Gateshead dreaming of an upset at League One AFC Wimbledon, 57 places above them in the ladder.
