  8. CLOSE!published at 15:43 GMT 1 November

FC Halifax Town 0-1 Exeter City

Three great chances for the hosts to equalise all go begging!

Will Harris latches on to a slide rule ball down the right channel, swivels on it and forces an excellent one-on-one save from City keeper Joe Whitworth.

The rebound falls to Jamie Cook but Pierce Sweeney gets back and recovers making a challenge on his own goal-line.

Then, Thierry Latty-Fairweather hits a shot which is caught by Whitworth.

Great attacking endeavour from the non-league outfit.

Deadlock broken in this all League One affair.

Ibrahim Cissoko's initial shot inside the box is blocked but it falls back to the Bolton winger and he puts it away second time round.

It's been coming given the amount of shots the Trotters have had in this first half.

    Reading 1-0 Carlisle

    Chris Lumsdon
Former Carlisle midfielder on BBC Radio Cumbria

Reading are really in the ascendency in the Carlisle half.

They're really well drilled in what they're doing.

They must have had at least 12 or 13 crosses so far.

Chances at both ends at Oakwell as Patrick Kelly bounces a shot wide of the upright from outside the box for the Reds before Joe Grey's cross at the other end is met by the head of Josh Stones again, though it's too close to keeper Murphy Cooper.

    Blackpool 1-0 Scunthorpe

    Steve Torpey
Former Scunthorpe striker on BBC Radio Humberside

It's been all Scunthorpe United in the last eight minutes.

There's a few times I thought the net would ripple.

Blackpool have had all their men in the box.

  14. 'The warning signs were there'published at 15:38 GMT 1 November

    Grimsby 0-1 Ebbsfleet

    Matt Dean
    BBC Radio Humberside commentator

The warning signs were there and Ebbsfleet have got the bit between their teeth.

Surely for a second successive season Grimsby Town can't be going out at this stage against National League South opposition, can they?

  15. CLOSE!published at 15:37 GMT 1 November

FC Halifax Town 0-1 Exeter City

Exeter close to doubling their lead.

They are awarded a free-kick for handball around 20 yards out and Reece Cole bends it around the wall but, unfortunately for him, just around the right hand up right as well.

  16. Rodney Parade rockingpublished at 15:37 GMT 1 November

    Newport 1-1 Gillingham

    Chris Wathan
BBC Sport Wales at Rodney Parade

As mentioned, it's hardly a bumper crowd at Rodney Parade but the old ground is rocking regardless after a County comeback.

Having hardly troubled the Gillingham backline, there was a real purple patch from the League Two strugglers with Gills keeper Jake Turner twice saving well - only for Cameron Evans to blast home from a corner.

Noise levels are up - and it's getting a bit feisty on the pitch as well.

    Reading 1-0 Carlisle

    Chris Lumsdon
Former Carlisle midfielder on BBC Radio Cumbria

It's the second balls - you really have to be quick to close the shot.

It's a little bit soft from Carlisle, a bit more urgency is needed there.

  19. goal

GOAL: Grimsby 0-1 Ebbsfleetpublished at 15:35 GMT 1 November

    Charlie Seaman (34 mins)

Wow, big goal at Blundell Park.
