    QPR 0-0 Norwich

There's an early injury here for Norwich to Borja Sainz, who has taken a painful whack on his first run forward and has blood pouring from his nose.

Not a good start for the Spanish forward who has 15 league goals this season.

As the rain lashes down at the MKM Stadium the Hull City players gave their walkout jackets to their young mascots as they emerged from the tunnel before kick-off.

    A nice touch there.

There's a moving tribute to former Millwall manager John Docherty before we get going at The Den, with a number of former players involved.

"The Doc" is the only manager in history to take the Lions to the top tier - a true Millwall legend.

They're looking to extend their unbeaten run to 10 league games today.

    Final Score

Free-scoring Norwich have swept into West London looking to arrest a chilly away form. They scored 10 goals in two home games last week, but only have two away wins since the season began.

But QPR are yet to win at home this season, so their fans will be looking for an early Christmas present from their side.

QPR take on Norwich looking for their first league win of the season at their Loftus Road home.

The struggling Hoops have picked up five points in their last three games in much improved form under Marti Cifuentes - but the visiting Canaries are unbeaten in eight league matches against their hosts.

Ninth-placed Norwich are looking to win their third game on the bounce and close the gap to the play-off places.

Newly appointed boss Ruben Selles is watching from the stands today - and he might be pleased with the rain currently sweeping in sideways across the pitch.

But the chatter I heard amongst the Hull fans sheltering by the bar is all positive - and they need change soon, without a win in 10 and two points from safety.

Earlier this week, Portsmouth midfielder Andre Dozzell said the side were on an "upward trajectory" and, with the basement side having no where to go but up, that seems to be true.

November consisted of their first home win at Fratton Park against Preston North End, two draws and just a solitary 1-0 loss to Plymouth Argyle.

However, today they face an opponent higher in the league than any of last month's competitors and with a solid away record as of late.

Bristol City have won three of their past five league away matches but have struggled to find consistency, having not won successive league matches since April.

Last time out saw the Robins ease to a 4-0 victory over Plymouth but can they put in a repeat performance for the first time this season?

With the chance to get off the bottom should they win, Pompey will be hoping it's them who are finding their winning feet.

  10. Delay at Kenilworth Roadpublished at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

You have to go all the way back to October 1 for Millwall's last Championship defeat.

Since then they've picked up four wins and five draws and today face a Coventry team still waiting for their first win under new boss Frank Lampard.

The Sky Blues have won their last three league meetings against the Lions, and have lost just one of their last six visits to The Den.

Millwall will remember their legendary former manager John Docherty, who led them to their only ever promotion to the top flight in 1988, before today's game.

Docherty died at the age of 84 earlier this week.

    Luton v Swansea (15:00 GMT)

Luton have lost 10 of their 18 games in the Championship this season and are 19th in the table, just three points above the drop zone, following a 4-2 loss at Norwich last Saturday with manager Rob Edwards blaming his players for making" massive errors" in the defeat.

Their form since last season's relegation from the Premier League has put Edwards' position under scrutiny, but the 41-year-old confirmed his determination to carry on.

"I’m ready to fight and dig in, but every one of those players has to do that with me as well," he said.

The Hatters will be pleased to see the back of making trips away for now having lost their past six away games. They go into this having won each of their past two home games by a 1-0 scoreline.

They have won each of their past three league games against Swansea without conceding a goal in the process and Edwards’ side will be looking to win four such matches in succession for the first time.

Swansea came from 2-0 to salvage a draw against Portsmouth last time out.

After losing seven of their eight away league games against Luton between 1962 and 2001, Swansea City have since lost on just one of their past five visits to Kenilworth Road (W3 D1).

They’re in decent form on the road winning two of their past three away league games (L1).

    Hull v Blackburn (15:00 GMT)

Hull announced on Friday that they have appointed Reading boss Ruben Selles as their new head coach on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Caretaker Andy Dawson will remain in charge for today’s game, with Selles taking over for the meeting with Watford on Wednesday.

The Tigers are 22nd in the Championship, with just three wins from 18 league games.

Hull, who sacked Tim Walter just over a week ago, are winless in their past 10 league games (D3 L7), losing the past five. They last had a longer league losing streak of six in July 2020, but could climb out of the bottom three with a much-needed victory today.

Hull head into this seeking to avoid a sixth successive defeat - something they have not experienced since the end of the 2019-20 season, when they were relegated from the Championship.

After a run of four games without a win (D1 L3), eighth-placed Blackburn have a spring in their step after notching up three wins on the spin.

John Eustace’s side are sitting just two points adrift the play-off positions and could move into those places as seventh in the table West Brom host leaders Sheffield United tomorrow.

A pretty relaxed day at the office, at no point did Leeds look worried.

Everyone expects Leeds to dominate possession, but they looked comfortable in and out of it.

A pretty routine performance at Elland Road at the moment.

    Honours even at Hillsborough.

Preston took a deserved 1-0 lead at the break thanks to Emil Riis' 14th-minute goal.

Wednesday did have a chance to level the score from the penalty spot early into the second half but Josh Windass was denied by Preston keeper Freddie Woodman after Pol Valentin was brought down inside the box.

Woodman went from hero to zero after he was unable to keep hold of Michael Smith's shot for Wednesday's equaliser.

The Owls who got back into the game in the second half are now unbeaten in their last three games after winning their previous two before today.

Preston are still searching for their first Championship away win since March.

Leeds go top of the league with a comfortable win at Elland Road.

Derby made it hard for their hosts in the first half but once Joe Rodon opened the scoring on 39 minutes with his first goal for the club, Leeds never looked back.

Substitute left-back Max Wober doubled the lead with his first Leeds goal soon after and the home side dominated the second half to claim all three points.
