  1. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:23 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Sunderland 2-1 Stoke

Sunderland have got their first win since October after Tom Watson's impressive display leads to two veteran-like goals from the talented teen.

The second half didn't have the panache of the first but the Black Cats offered by far the most attacking threat, finally making it count when Watson's smooth strike deflected slightly off Michael Rose and into the net.

They could have been up before that but Wilson Isidor's header was ruled off for offside, though it's doubtful Regis Le Bris will be feeling too sore about that.

He heads to the tunnel with his side back to winning ways and, perhaps even more importantly, finding the goal.

Something that last month, came rarely.

  2. INJURY TIMEpublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Leeds 2-0 Derby

Largie Ramazani looks a real livewire down this right side.

The winger wrong-foots Eiran Cashin on the touchline before running at the defence, but the Belgian's cross is cleared away.

Three minutes of added time to go.

  3. INJURY TIMEpublished at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Sunderland 2-1 Stoke

Four minutes for Stoke to deprive Sunderland of their first win in seven games.

  4. Postpublished at 14:18 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Leeds 2-0 Derby

Largie Ramazani is straight into the action as he works some room for himself down the right, cutting in to shoot with his left - and he hits it straight at his own teammate Joel Piroe.

It looked like it might have been going wide but it stayed in play and Max Wober then had an effort blocked. What a day it would have been for him to come off the bench and score two goals.

    Approaching the 90-minute mark.

  5. 'Everything Derby do is rushed'published at 14:16 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Leeds 2-0 Derby

    Malcolm Christie

    Leeds 2-0 Derby

Largie Ramazani and Josuha Guilavogui are going to get a run out for the hosts in the closing stages as they come on for Dan James and Joe Rothwell.

Leeds are heading for the summit of the Championship table.

  7. goal

GOAL: Sunderland 2-1 Stokepublished at 14:14 Greenwich Mean Time 7 December 2024

    Tom Watson (86 mins)

    Sunderland might have won it!

Tom Watson gets his second goal of the game as his strike picks up a small deflection from Michael Rose and goes in.

In a team with many a talented teenager, Watson has been the standout in the battle between the youngest squads in the league.
