  2. How can Villa reach the Champions League?published at 15:26 British Summer Time 25 May

Manchester United v Aston Villa (16:00 BST)

Unai Emery's side have earned an unrivalled 24 points since the beginning of March, winning eight of their nine Premier League matches during that period, but they need one more win today.

Aston Villa will secure Champions League qualification if they win and either Man City lose or Newcastle or Chelsea fail to win. A Villa draw would be enough if Newcastle lose.

    What a game this is, and it's a must-watch if you're a neutral too.

Nothing against my old club Chelsea, but I'd love to go with my heart and say Nottingham Forest will beat them and finish in the top five - it's just I don't think either of those things will happen.

The City Ground will be absolutely jumping, of course, but it was the same for Forest's past three home league games, against Leicester, Brentford and Everton, and they only have one point to show for them - from their draw with the Foxes.

Chelsea are probably going to need a win too, to finish above Aston Villa and stay in the top five, but I can see this ending in the result neither team wants, which is a draw.

That was the result when they met at Stamford Bridge in October, in a game that saw a thrilling finish with chances at both ends. I am expecting more of the same here, with both sides ending up disappointed.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-1

It all comes down to Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon. A chance to continue to build a club that Kevin de Bruyne played an integral role in taking to the very summit of European football.

There is no bigger motivation than to do as the captain would want to himself - to compete on the highest stage, taking on the very best to prove we are the very best.

One last shot at saving our season, to set up the future, and perhaps create more history once again.

    That's the message.

    Clear as day.

  5. Sutton's predictionspublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 25 May

Fulham v Manchester City (16:00 BST)

    Chris Sutton
    BBC Football Predictions Expert

Manchester City were really good in their win over Bournemouth on Tuesday, and they did not let the disappointment of last weekend's FA Cup final defeat affect them. Omar Marmoush was excellent, they created lots of chances and defended strongly too.

City still made mistakes, though, and the stray passes that led to Mateo Kovacic being sent off and also gifted Bournemouth a late goal are the kind of simple errors you don't expect their players to make.

City will miss Kovacic here because he gives them legs in midfield and knits their play together so well, and without him I have a sneaky feeling that this will not be a straightforward afternoon for them. The way the season has gone for Pep Guardiola's side, I would not put it past them to screw this up.

They only need a point to secure a top-five finish and maintain their ever-present record in the Champions League since 2011 but, with the way Fulham play, they are in for a tough time at Craven Cottage.

I still think City will find a way of winning, but me saying that is probably bad news for Pep Guardiola's side. I've found it impossible to predict Fulham all season and, whatever I say they will do, I am usually wrong.

    Sutton's prediction: 1-2

  6. Final Ipswich game for Delap?published at 15:22 British Summer Time 25 May

Ipswich v West Ham (16:00 BST)

There are always farewells at the end of the season and this one won't be any different.

Ipswich forward Liam Delap has been given permission to explore "his options" for next season and speak to other clubs, says manager Kieran McKenna.

The 22-year-old joined the Tractor Boys from Manchester City in a deal worth up to £20m last summer but is expected to leave the club following their relegation back to the Championship after just one campaign in the Premier League.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle have all been linked with a move for the England Under-21 international, who has a £30m relegation release clause in his contract, while City also hold a buy-back option.

  7. Can the Saints gain any more points?published at 15:21 British Summer Time 25 May

    Southampton v Arsenal (16:00 BST)

It has been an incredibly disappointing season for bottom side Southampton who have just 12 Premier League points, one more than Derby's 11-point tally of 2007-08.

If the Saints lose at home to Arsenal today, it will be an unprecedented 30th league defeat in a Premier League campaign.

They share the record of 29 with Ipswich Town (1994-95), Sunderland (2005-06), that Derby team and Sheffield United (2020-21).

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is expected to talk to the club's fans on the pitch at the end of the match and has already said he will apologise for the club's poor season that currently has them 16th.

Writing in the matchday programme, he has already outlined what he has thought of this campaign after United's 1-0 loss to Tottenham in the Europa League final ended any hope of qualifying for Europe.

"Next season, we must be better because this season has not met the standards of Manchester United," he wrote.

"In Bilbao on Wednesday, we desperately wanted to give you, our brilliant fans, something to celebrate after such a difficult time and, even though we tried, the outcome summarised the season for us. It was a painful experience for us all and going forward we have to use that hurt as fuel.

"Whatever happens this afternoon, we know we have a lot of hard work ahead this summer. Everyone at the club - players, coaches and staff - must commit fully to that effort and pull together to deliver the big improvements required next season and beyond. For us to repay you, the work really begins."

I always fancy Newcastle at home. I don't care who they're playing. I've always enjoyed watching Eddie Howe teams.

For Newcastle, it's about getting over the line. What a season they've had winning a trophy but this would just round it off and I think that the Newcastle players will be bursting in this game.

The Nottingham Forest team bus arrived to a fanfare from supporters outside the City Ground.

The team were greeted with red smoke bombs and bubbles as they made their way in ahead of facing Chelsea.

It has set the stage ahead of potential final day drama as both sides look to snatch a Champions League spot.

Regardless of the result and what European competition they are in next season it has still been a fantastic campaign for Forest - who beat the drop on the final day of last season.

A very nervous Chelsea fan here. This team has been so up and down and this is a big pressure game. We've yet to see this new Chelsea step up in those kind of games. Going to have to earn Champions League today.

    Tottenham v Brighton (16:00 BST)

Tottenham are one place above the relegation places in the Premier League, but after Wednesday night it is fair to say they will be in a party mood.

Ange Postecoglou delivered silverware in his second season like he promised as the Lilywhites ended their 17-year wait for a trophy, beating Manchester United 1-0 in the Europa League final.

Along with champions Liverpool and Europa League winners Tottenham, Arsenal have qualified for the Champions League so they don't have to worry today unlike the rest of the top five.

  17. Sels or Raya for the Golden Glovepublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 25 May

    Southampton v Arsenal (16:00 BST)

The battle for the Golden Glove, a trophy that nobody ever mentioned a few years ago, is between two men.

Nottingham Forest's Matz Sels and Arsenal's David Raya are the pair left standing in the race for the most Premier League clean sheets.

They are on 13 each, meaning they will share it if they either both keep clean sheets or concede goals this weekend.

Raya won it last year with 16 clean sheets.

In fact this year could end up as the fewest clean sheets required to win it, with the record Joe Hart's 14 in 2014-15.

Liverpool v Crystal Palace (16:00 BST)

There is another less-known record he could clinch - most goal involvements in a Premier League season.

He is one off the record of goal contributions - a player's goals plus assists total - in a Premier League season, with a home game against Crystal Palace to come.

He has 28 goals and 18 assists, one behind Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole's 34-goal and 13-assist seasons.

Nottingham is glorious in the sunshine and this city is one that claims to be the pub capital of the UK.

It is said the West Bridgeford area, home to the City Ground on the River Trent, has nine pubs per square mile and it feels like everyone is out nice and early to soak in the atmosphere.

Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo has delivered the same message to fans in his programme notes as his press conference: "Enjoy the game and bring then noise."

My train came in stupidly early today so I have been walking around. There there is a bit of a party atmosphere bubbling up even several hours before kick-off.

The sun is out at Old Trafford, which is rather at odds with the dark clouds gathering over Manchester United.

More redundancies, no European football, so a loss of income, players earning too much and not producing anything like enough.

United head into the final day in 16th. The highest they can finish is 14th.

It is their worst season since the 1973-74 relegation campaign.

Ruben Amorim and his players will take part in a lap of appreciation after the final whistle. Amorim is due to speak to the fans and say sorry for the desperate campaign.
