    This is the first game this season Southampton have looked like they want to be in the Premier League. If they had this attitude for every game then they’d have more than six points.

    But the Seagulls have been the much better side after the restart, having recorded three shots on target from five attempts.

    It’s amazing what teams suddenly are capable of doing when they turn up at Old Trafford. Southampton won’t play anything like those for the rest of the season.

    Before the corner is taken, an already-cautioned Liam Delap shoves Joao Pedro to the floor.

    The Ipswich forward needs to be careful here.
