As a Liverpool fan, the Hill Dickinson stadium looks incredible and I reckon that, like Anfield, it could become a stadium that is ominous for opponents to play at, something about the design and atmosphere seems intense and pressuring, I reckon it could be one that becomes legendary, maybe even as good as Goodison.

Clever from Brighton to look to slow the game down and take the sting out of the sizzling atmosphere here.

I wouldn't be surprised if this game is won and lost on the wings. Everton have two players at full-back for who that is not their natural position and they are up against Minteh and Mitoma for Brighton who are very good wide players.

Everton were awful away at Leeds in their opening day loss on Monday night but today is different. It's the first game in their new home and three points are what's needed.

    This is end to end.

Crystal Palace go from back to front so quickly. Justin Devenny did have other options, but it was a good save from Matz Sels.

    Action-packed start!

After Tyrick Mitchell does ever so well to hold off Chris Wood at one end, Justin Devenny finds space for himself inside the Forest box but his pass is cut out.

It was great to see Grealish getting at the defender there. He didn't get past him but it was the effort he made to get back up and win the ball back. He looks up for it.

Jack Grealish looks to get the better of Mats Wieffer down the left. He loses the ball but shows plenty of intent to get in there and win it back.

    Everton fans will love that.

It's Brighton who take hold of the ball and look to come down the left side of the pitch but an offside stops the attack and here come Everton.

As a Forest fan, I’m a little disappointed in Nuno. I love the guy to bits, and the word ‘grateful’ doesn’t even cut it as far as my feelings about what he’s done for my club, but to follow up that interview before the Brentford game with a press conference airing everything out in public again? Especially after such a positive week where we made four great new signings and had an unbelievable opening day performance. What does that do to the squad? He needs to keep this in-house instead of creating more drama around the club - we’ve had enough of that already!

It is difficult to predict who will win this game. If Nuno Espirito Santo needs to change things he can, but Crystal Palace are limited and Oliver Glasner needs help. Glasner needs players to come in.

What a noise. What an atmosphere. What a stadium.

So many Evertonians have waited so long for this occasion, and now it has arrived.

This feels so special for everyone in this stadium.
