    • Finished seventh in the Premier League table
    • Secured a place in Europe - the Conference League later upgraded to the Europa League
    • A Wembley FA Cup semi-final

Dave: Whatever internal dispute is going on, it shouldn't be aired in public like this. It would be a mistake to get rid of Nuno, and it seems like terrible timing. Both men need to sit down and settle this. No-one is bigger than the club, not even Marinakis.

I think it is ominous if Nuno Espirito Santo is calling out the owner like he is. Nottingham Forest had a comfortable win against Brentford.

Everybody - me included - thought things were rosy in the garden at Forest but there is this disharmony.

Evangelos Marinakis has sacked managers in the past. I think there was one in 2015-16 who won the double for Olympiakos.

    Everton v Brighton (14:00 BST)

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Hill Dickinson Stadium

Everton's highest profile summer signing Jack Grealish, on loan from Manchester City, gets his first start after coming on as a late substitute at Leeds United.

And there is also a first start for France under-21 striker Thierno Barry, signed from Villarreal in a £27m deal this summer, while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall makes his home Premier League debut after his £28m arrival from Chelsea.

Everton manager David Moyes will look to that trio to provide inspiration after a dismal display at Elland Road.

Everton XI: Pickford, Keane, Tarkowski, Ndiaye, Barry, O'Brien, Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall, Gueye, Garner, Iroegbunam.

Subs: Travers, McNeil, Beto, Chermiti, Coleman, Alcaraz, Aznou, Armstrong, Onyango.

    Everton lineup

Fabian Hurzeler has named his Brighton starting XI to take on Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Danny Welbeck has been restored to the line-up in place of Georginio Rutter.

Brighton XI: Verbruggen, Dunk, Van Hecke, Minteh, Baleba, Welbeck, Mitoma, Ayari, Wieffer, De Cuyper, O'Riley.

Subs: Steele, Gruda, Hinshelwood, Boscagli, Milner, Kadioglu, Gomez, Veltman, Coppola.

Everton boss David Moyes on the pressure to win the first Premier League game at the club's new ground: "When I came in last year I felt pressure to get results to stay in the Premier League, then I felt pressure to win the last game at Goodison, so you can always put pressure on things.

"We've had the chance to play down there a couple of times already, so we hope we can get used to it quickly. Everybody knows playing at a new stadium is never that easy."

The news coming out of Forest that Nuno's future as manager is uncertain hit the fans like a team bus on Friday.

But fans Lynne and Lisa, speaking to BBC's Aaron Paul as they waited for the away players to arrive at Selhurst Park, remain hopeful he will stay in charge.

"It came out the blue on Friday, hopefully it will all get resolved," they said.

Their blame is not with owner Evangelos Marinakis though. "We like his passion. He's spending a lot of money, we can't ask for more."

Peter: I know our owner is erratic, but this is difficult to fathom. I just hope they can get over this, as it would be a disaster at this stage of the season when everything looked so hopeful.

  11. Team News - Guehi starts for Palace, Forest unchangedpublished at 12:51 British Summer Time 24 August

Crystal Palace v Nottingham Forest (14:00 BST)

    Emma Smith
    BBC Sport at Selhurst Park

The welcome news for Crystal Palace fans is that captain Marc Guehi starts today, amid speculation about his future at the club.

There are two changes to the side which started the win over Fredrikstad on Thursday - Chris Richards and Tyrick Mitchell come into the side.

And the lack of depth is illustrated by the presence of two goalkeepers, Remi Matthews and Walter Benitez, on the bench.

Palace XI: Henderson; Lacroix, Guehi, Richards; Munoz, Wharton, Hughes, Mitchell; Sarr, Devenny; Mateta

Subs: Matthews, Benitez, Lerma, Clyne, Esse, Edouard, Sosa, Rodney, Cardines

    Crystal Palace lineup

Nottingham Forest are unchanged from the XI that started their 3-1 win over Brentford last Sunday.

The three players signed by the club in the meantime - Douglas Luiz, Omari Hutchinson and James McAtee - are all on the bench.

Chris Wood has scored 33 Premier League goals in 53 appearances under Nuno Espirito Santo - can he add more today in what might be the manager's last match in charge?

Forest XI: Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Williams; Sangare, Anderson; Ndoye, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood

Subs: Gunn, Morato, Douglas Luiz, Kalimuendo, Igor Jesus, Hutchinson, Yates, McAtee, Boly.

Our relationship has changed - Nuno Espirito Santo on Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis

There have been suggestions Nuno Espirito Santo has not been fully involved in the club's recruitment this summer, which could be a factor in the deterioration of his relationship with Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.

Sources have told BBC Sport that Nuno's position is not completely safe despite last season's achievement of qualifying for Europe, and their win over Brentford in the first round of matches in this season's Premier League.

Forest have been active in the transfer market this summer, signing seven players - although they did sell winger Anthony Elanga to Newcastle for £55m.

But before last Sunday's 3-1 win over Brentford, Nuno outlined his transfer concerns.
